Crucified with Christ

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). Die to self! It is time we die to self and allow the Lord Jesus to reign freely in our lives. It is an honor to serve our Lord. Along with this honor, comes many promises filled with goodness and His grace. Who would not want this blessing in their lives? Who in their right mind would pass up this great invitation of love? Those who are still trusting in themselves. Those who still have a vision of building their own kingdom here on this earth. They will be the ones to pass it up. Maybe the dollar bill has their heart, as if that is the answer to all of life's problems. However, the dollar bill is not the key to eternal life in the kingdom of God. So many material things, from big to small, holds back many people from receiving what Jesus did at Calvary. His blood was shed for you and I. It has washed us and cleansed us from all sin. What is it going to take? Does Jesus' death on the cross and His sacrifice have our attention? Jesus did everything possible for us. Now, it's time that we stand in faith, believe in Christ Jesus with all of our hearts, and follow after Him. If His sacrifice does not move us, we will stay stuck in a gloomy barren place. We will be lifeless. It's time to begin to trust Him. We must become more faithful to Him and less reliant on our works of religion, and we must start building a relationship with Jesus Christ.
