My grace is enough for you
2 Corinthians 12:9 amp. "But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!" Paul was a man that was of little statue, but he had a large heart. He was a man who said, "I am Crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me." This man, when punished and tortured for speaking the Word of God, would not allow the situation or pain to keep him down. He got up, went to the next town, and spoke the same Word of God. This was a man who did not brag on himself, but on Christ Jesus and Him Crucified. Paul learned about God's Grace and the Power in it, through it, and walking with it. He learned how to trust totally in the Lord, from the inside out. Paul got to the place in his relationship with the Lord where bodily strength had no purpose in his service to the Lord, and the only thing that shone through was his weaknesses and infirmities. These were the times that God's Strength and Power were displayed. It's time that we all boast in our weaknesses and not in our personal strengths. This day, let God be Glorified through all of our weaknesses, for His Grace is sufficient. Give God Thanks.
