When I called

Psalm 138:3 amp. "In the day when I called, You answered me; and You strengthened me with strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) in my inner self." There is a peace and assurance when one arises in the morning with the praises of the Lord upon their heart. They begin the new day in the arms of the Lord. In His arms there is love, rest, peace, and strength. He wants us all to start a new day in His wonderful Glory, so he can give us the hope and faith we will need throughout the day. King David starts this Psalm in a powerful way, v:1 "I will praise You with my whole heart." He opened his whole heart up to the Lord, with no more walls, and no more going through the motions of his worship. When the heart is real and willing, God will become willing to move upon the heart. So throughout your day, if temptation looks at you, call upon the Lord. When problems of the past arise, call upon the Lord. He is near to those who call out to Him with a whole heart. Give God praise today with your whole heart.
