Many will grow cold

"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold" (Matthew 24:11, 12 NKJV). How near are we to the Lord? How much do we really love the Lord? These are two honest questions that each believer can answer. Let us be honest. Does Christ really have first place in our hearts? Do we have a secret place we meet with Him daily? Here in America, 78% of adults claim to be Christians. There is a big majority of this nation that believes in God and that they are saved. However, how many of them truly love Him and have a relationship with Him?  Football stadiums are filled on Sundays, and many men are glued to the television. Night clubs are filled, along with the divorce court, and children are left without a mom or dad. Drugs, alcohol, pornography, and immoral living floods America. This can not be the result of the 22% that remains as non believers. The fact is we have lost the love for our first love. We have become so cold to the will of God. These are some exciting times we live in, but at the same time scary times, for the wrath of God falls on the godless. Keep watch that no one deceives you. The Lord is coming back soon. God bless you.
