He came unto his own,

"He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:11, 12 KJV): Jesus is saving. He is saving them that are stuck in darkness with no way out. He came to save the hopeless, the helpless, and the brokenhearted. He is our salvation, our destiny, and our way out. There's no other way but through Jesus Christ. God sent His only begotten Son to save and redeem mankind from its' evil and wicked works, and to show us all His great mercy that He has for our souls. Yet, so many have despised Him, and many are still rejecting Him. They are blinded by the gods of this world. So much has confused their minds, and many cannot fulfill their own passions that they have been chasing. They are lost, with no life, for they have rejected the Light, which shows them the right path. They would rather walk in their own desires and on their own strength. How far they have fallen from their first love. How far they have gone away from what is true, pure, and morally right. Come on church! We have to take a look at our own hearts. Are we reflecting Christ or are we so consumed by our own problems that we cannot see beyond them? It is time to truly put our faith in the Lord, and begin to walk and talk the Word of God.
