And the Lord said to Satan

Job 1:7-8. amp"And the Lord said to satan, from where did you come? Then satan answered the Lord, from going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down on it. And the Lord said to satan, have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who [reverently] fears God and abstains from and shuns evil [because it is wrong]?" Job was a man blessed by God throughout his life. He had plenty and was very rich. He was a man that trusted in the Lord with his whole heart. He was blameless,  feared God, and hated sin and unrightousness. Why would God allow satan to destroy all that Job had? We read that satan had to get permission from God. Remember God knew the heart of Job, a man that would not curse or deny God even through the worst of times. Things will happen and have also happened in our lives that hurt deeply, but I have learned never to let go of God in and through the trials. These trials should bring us closer to the Lord, just as Job became closer to God.  Don't Let trials bring you down, but allow them to build you and make you into a person of integrity, with the character of Christ. Walk upright with the fear of God in your heart, blameless, and abstain from evil. For He might look upon you with Faith, saying " have you Consider my servant?" Praise God.
