A fair shew in the flesh

Galatians 6:12-15 kjv."As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature." As it was back then when the Apostle Paul wrote this epistle, it is in many churches today. The enemy has come into the church. He has made a fair show in the flesh, and is trapping the children of God with religious programs. Today in the Western church of America, many are going back to the law. Many have taught other doctrine rather than the True Word of God, and have missed the Truth.  It is only the Blood of Jesus Christ that brings Glory to God. We can't bring glory to God by our works, our self-effort, or man made programs. Paul saw himself crucified unto the world, and it was Christ he boasted in. The message of the Cross strikes deep, and hits the heart at pride and self-righteousness. The only way we can overcome the world is by placing our faith in the Cross of Christ, and not in any religious ceremony. Christ Crucified is the way to freedom and salvation.
