Him Who endured

Hebrews 12:3 amp. "Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition  and  bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or  exhausted, losing heart  and  relaxing  and  fainting in your minds." Giving up is something very common among us. Too many times we start something, lose heart, and never finish what we started. So as we go through life, we have a storage full of stuff we have never finished. What is the problem here? Maybe we lost interest, or it was too hard. Many times we go on, looking for some more new things to start. This all stems from the heart. We start a race on fire, giving it all we have, one hundred percent, and then we begin to lose sight of the finish line. When this happens, many of us quit. Have there been times in your walk with Christ that you have come to this point of wanting to give up? I believe many of us face this road block from time to time. The Word of God says "consider Him", instead of yourself, and you will have victory. With Jesus leading us we will not faint or get exhausted. The greatest example we have is Christ, The Author and Finisher of our Faith. Don't give up! It's the heart that makes a champion. Consider Him, and pray for strength.
