Ask, and it shall be given you.

Matthew 7:7, 8 kjv. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Communication is very important in a relationship. How can two people understand the each other without communication? Along with communication comes asking. This may include, asking what they may like or dislike. Maybe you need something they have, and all you have to do is ask. If we don't ask, how can we expect to receive? Jesus made it clear that we need to open up our mouths and begin to ask for what we need. If the answer does not come forth, then we are to seek the reason why we did not receive what we asked for.  We also have to learn how to seek for the will of God in our lives. It is not enough to just ask. How desperate do we really want the answer? Ask Christ to show you the direction to the Door of Life. Before you knock, make sure it is the right door. God is so willing to give us all that we need. He will provide the water and the bread to sustain us, but do you want more? Ask according to His will and you shall be given what you ask for.
