Not ashamed.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'" (Romans 1:16, 17 NKJV).How beautiful "The Gospel of Christ" is, for God is revealed in it. Yet, so many do not believe it is the Living Word of God. That is why we should not be ashamed, but we should live unashamed of the living Word of God. We as believers, are to live the Word of God to the fullest by faith. The Gospel of Christ is not to be taken lightly by us, the believers. We are to uphold it in the highest. We are to put it around our hearts, walk in it, and live it out by faith. It is our instruction, our daily bread, and our very living water. Jesus Christ died that we may have freedom and stay out of bondage by giving us the Gospel, the Power of God. So many patriarchs, pioneers of the Bible, were burned at the stake, slaughtered, tortured, and thrown to the lions for their faith in the Gospel of Christ. The Gospel is the power of God, and it should not be ignored. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV). Walk by faith in the world not by sight.
