He is able to save.

"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25 KJV). Jesus is on the throne next to God the Father, and He is making intercession for us all. He is our High Priest for all of our needs. He is not like the other high priests, who first offered up a sacrifice for their own sins then sacrificed for the people. Our High Priest is unchangeable and full of love and mercy. Jesus is holy, blameless, unstained by sin, separated from sinners, and able to save souls. Jesus went to the cross not only for the Jews but for all humanity. He did it all for you and I, even unto death, so that we may be free from the dominions of darkness and from all that the prince of this world traps so many people into. We have a High Priest that is familiar with temptation and infirmities. We have a Savior that is able to save even those in deep darkness. He, being fully man as well as fully God, stood up against every form of darkness and brought Light to humanity. "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV).
