They think it strange

"Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you" (1 Peter 4:4 KJV). The unsaved do not understand the reason why the believer lives their life for Jesus Christ. They cannot understand why the believer would stop doing what they used to do or why they left the old life. When one comes to the Lord with a full heart, it is evident by their actions and desires. Just as I was once in the world, it was evident that I was in the world by the things I did and how I did them. At the time, everyone was okay with that. They were okay with the way I was living in sin. It was acceptable to the world, and it still is. Many times I did not get pushed around or talked about. I had many friends that lived for their sin also. Then I realized sin was the only thing we had in common. Now that I am living a life for Christ Jesus we have nothing in common. They will speak about us and call us names, but as long as you and I walk in Jesus they will one day face the facts of who we really are and what they are not. Stand firm in the Lord today.
