The Grace of God
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world" (Titus 2:11-12 KJV). God's grace has appeared to all men. Everyone has seen the grace of God work at least once in their lives. God has given us grace to overcome the temptations that we face each day. It is given to us to overcome all ungodliness and the lusts that haunt man. God's grace is powerful, and it is enough to get us through the times we live in. The Apostle Paul speaks to us, saying that in our weaknesses God's grace is sufficient. "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV). As believers, our Lord is not going to leave us helpless. He has given us everything we need to survive in this world, whether it be physically or spiritually. The grace of God shows us how to stand up in Jesus Christ in these days that we live in, and it gives us a greater and deeper desire to live for Him. None of us deserve God's grace, but it is a gift from God above to everyone of us. Jesus demonstrated this powerful grace by going to the cross and dying for us all. God's grace brings salvation to all who except God by faith. How wonderful the grace God is that was bestowed upon all humanity. It teaches us and brings all who believe to salvation. God bless you. Amen
