Strengthen me.

"And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes" (Judges 16:28 KJV). Remember me, I pray you! Have you ever been in the place where you needed help immediately and the only people that surrounded you were the ones that got you to that place? Samson was a great anointed man of God. Yes, he had some issues, just like most of us, but the moment that he realized he needed God, he cried out. He knew there was no other way out of this life of chains and shackles. He was without strength, so he cried out to God. Sampson, the biggest and strongest man, was now powerless, weak, and broken. He was bound with his eyes gouged out. He was hopeless. The enemy was making a sport out of him. They were looking up to their gods and worshiping their gods, whom they believed brought Sampson into captivity under their authority. However, down in that dungeon, a fire began to arise in Sampson once again. His hair started growing back. He started believing as he once had before. A falling believer can come back if they just cry out once more to Jesus Christ. Sampson was not going to allow himself or God Jehovah, whom he served, be shamed. We cannot serve Christ on our own strength. It takes the strength of the Holy Spirit living inside of us to defeat the enemy. Remember me, Oh Lord. God bless you. Amen
