Teaching us.
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world" (Titus 2:11, 12 KJV). God's grace, His unmerited favor, is upon us. The struggling sinner has a place of refuge under the hands of the Lord. There is a place where we can run to when trials and temptations grab a hold of us. It is a place where the lost and lonely sinner can find their way home to everlasting life. This place is a powerful place. It is a place where we can allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify our hearts, souls, and minds. God freely gives all humanity an invitation into His grace. It is for everyone. It's for the addict, the murderer, the prostitute, the homosexual, the hurting, the spiritually dying, the fatherless, the backslider, the soul that wants to commit suicide, and those who just want out. Jesus Christ has made a way for all to be free from the evil and perversion of these last days. All we have to do is fall into His arms that are open to all who choose to come. The grace of God teaches everyone who has faith in Jesus how to live a life apart from the evil and the sin that floods the world today. It teaches us how to deny all ungodliness and to live soberly, righteously, and godly. This is the work of God's grace. God bless you all. Amen
