Trust in The Lord.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5 KJV). What do we have to lose when we make up our minds to follow Jesus Christ? The disciples did not get a hold of this truth until they were without the Lord. Then, on that blessed day, the Holy Spirit came down upon all of those that were in the upper room. Our homes and bank accounts cannot go with us and neither can our cars. The disciples dropped their nets and began to follow the Lord. They took nothing with them. They began a journey with Christ, and they were being shown how to trust in God the Father and the Word of God. For three and a half years, they did not trust in money or try to find out what clothes they were going to wear or what bed they would sleep in. They just followed. So many things can get in our way and keep us from our journey with the Lord, whether it be money or our personal lives. The journey with Christ starts with us giving our hearts up into His hands and trusting in our Lord and not the works of this world. Let's follow with a whole heart. God bless you. Amen
