To do thy will
"Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God" (Hebrews 10:7 KJV). Jesus was guided by the Holy Ghost into the wilderness, where He was tempted by satan. The only way Jesus was able to stand up against the devil and the temptations was through His obedience to the Word of God. Obedience goes hand-in-hand with faith. When one is obedient to Jesus Christ, Who is the Word of God, one will step out of the normal into the supernatural by faith. Heaven never intervenes until we obey the Word of God. There must be a response on our part, or there will not be any action on God's part. Jesus was able to stand against satan because He allowed the Holy Spirit to guide Him, control Him, and lead Him. We never hear of Jesus doing His own thing. He always did as the Father in heaven commanded Him to do. Jesus learned how to be obedient through the sufferings He faced. Jesus was the meekest man that ever walked on this earth, and in His meekness He learned obedience, power, wisdom, knowledge, and the will of God. Jesus was not in control of His own life. He was under the control of God. God is looking for those who will step out by faith in this last hour and follow Him. In doing so, one must be obedient to the Word of God. God bless you. Amen
