If anyone is in Christ

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ NKJV). There is only one way to live for Jesus Christ, that is to be conformed to His image. The carnal man, also known as the sin nature, must come into submission to Jesus Christ in order for one to live a life in victory. If one wants true and actual freedom from this world, they will pick up their cross and deny themselves daily. It does not take a genius to be saved in Christ, but it does take one denying themselves daily to live in Christ. This is a work in progress. One is saved by Jesus Christ when they make Him Lord and Savior over their lives. However, this work of being conformed into the image of Christ is a work of one who is disciplined and willing to let go of this world. One cannot be friends of this world and follow Christ. One cannot have the best from both sides. "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (‭I John‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ NKJV). Everything in this world is going to fade away, grow old, and die. "But he who does the will of God abides forever (vs. 17). " The Lord has shown us His way through the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and in His Word He gives us examples of a holy life and how to achieve it through the Holy Spirit.
