The Lamb of God

John 1:29. The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and said, "Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world."  John the baptist was waiting for this day to come, when he would see the Lamb of God, the One Prefect Sacrifice who came to die, and take away the sin for all humanity. Sin has always run wild among the earth ever since Adam and Eve's time. The more a person practices sin and lives in it, the further he or she gets from God. We as Christians have to understand that when we fall or desire sin  we give back dominion and authority to the enemy. When I play a game I'll do all I  can to win. I'll put all my strength, heart, and soul into it. I don't play to lose. Oh how good it feels when I win the game, but it doesn't feel too good when I lose. When I do lose I don't give up. I  must try harder and find out what my weaknesses are because next time I will be on guard, and ready to give it all. I have to win. God the Father sees from heaven above how many times we try to fight off sin, but only find ourselves defeated. He saw how the blood of an animal could only cover sin, and not take it away, but Jesus came with Love  from a Father, tired of seeing you and I struggle with sin, and became the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. His blood cleanses us from sin, and His Cross defeated the devil. The victory of the cross gave all  who believe in Jesus Christ dominion and authority over all sin and darkness. If sin has you defeated take a stand against it, get up, shake it off, repent, and confess your sins to God. 1 John 1:9. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."  Your on the winning team, and this team will never lose.  Believe and have faith in The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Give Him thanks today.
