The love of God toward us.

"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him" (1 John 4:9 KJV). Are our hearts moved with compassion and sorrow for the lost and broken? Does the fear of God bring a deeper conviction to our hearts and souls? Will the love for our families and friends drive us to pray and fast for their freedom? Enough about us! What about them? Who will go and reach those in need? Jesus came to save those who are lost in sin and filled with hurt. When Jesus walked into a town, people came from all around to be fed, healed, and freed. They knew what He was capable of doing and many sought Him for a gift. The modern day church also knows what Jesus is able to do. But do we really want what He died for? Or is the church comfortable and content with the way they are living? Too many are lost and dying by the road side, waiting and hoping for the Lord to pass by.
