He has promised

"Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life" (I John 2:24, 25 NKJV). Man makes so many promises, and some will go to the extreme to keep them, some will try to keep them, and others could care less about what they have promised. One man named Jesus came to fulfill His Father's promises, and in doing so we, by faith in Him, can have God's promises for our lives. It is a life filled with hope, love, and everlasting life in Jesus Christ. We have been told to keep what we have heard from the Word of God in our hearts, then we will dwell in the Son and in the Father always. Grab ahold of the Living Word of God and allow Him to saturate your life in the Truth. Permanently abide in, live in, remain in, and be knit to Him just as He has taught you. Christ gives us His promise of eternal life and the Holy Spirit to lead our lives on the path to eternity so that we may help others along the way also. He wants us to show others the Love of Christ and the hope in His living Word. When we trust in and have confidence in Him, we will not be ashamed when He appears. "And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming" (vs. 28). The only way one can come into these promises is though the Blood of Christ, who is the Door to everlasting Life. God bless you. Amen

Suddenly

"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38 NKJV). Suddenly there came a sound from Heaven. A mighty rushing wind filled the house, not just part of the house, but all of it. When God does His work, He does it fully. He finishes what He starts. There are no areas left undone. Suddenly and without expectation, the Lord can come at any moment, just like on the day of Pentecost. The disciples and all the others who waited for the promise from our Lord in the upper room received more than just a blessing. They were baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. They were given a new life with Jesus Christ, a life like no other. They were given a life that came by fire and the very breath of God. Jesus laid down His life for all of us, and in doing so He poured out the Holy Spirit so that we can live in Him and He in us. The Holy Spirit brings fullness of life to every believer who relies on, trust in, and clings to Jesus Christ. We have been given the greatest life to live. It is a life filled continually with the presence of the Lord. The Holy Spirit has been given to the church of yesterday and today to demonstrate God's love, forgiveness, mercy, and heart to the body of believers. The Holy Spirit is alive in the believer who repents and receives the message of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Wait in the Spirit of God, and you won't be disappointed. Without Him, we, the church, will not survive but will die a spiritual death and be lifeless without a breath. God bless you. Amen

The fountain of Life.

"For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light" (Psalms 36:9 NKJV). Jesus came to bring light into this world, and He did so in abundance. When we could not see, due to spiritual blindness and living a life of lawlessness, God knew the only way we could ever survive in a world of darkness was in His powerful Light. He is the Light of the world, and those who follow Him and are truly born-again will also see and receive this wonderful Light in Him. Jesus Christ is the fountain of life, and in this fountain one is washed, cleansed, and made whole. They are made brand new. We need to show this Light to those who are the same way we once were, blinded to the Truth. As long as we, the believers, keep Jesus first in our lives this wonderful Light will shine around this world. He came to give us all a chance, a new life filled with His Spirit living inside of us. It is through the oil of the Holy Spirit that the Light of Christ keeps on shinning in our hearts. You are the Light of the world. So, shine your light in the midst of a world of darkness. "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5 NKJV). Keep the Light of Christ shinning, and those around you will see it also. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16 NKJV). God bless you. Amen

Pattern

"PATTERN YOURSELVES after me [follow my example], as I imitate and follow Christ (the Messiah)" (1 Corinthians 11:1 AMP). There are so many patterns to this life that are pertaining to life, but only one is the true and fulfilling pattern, that is a life in Jesus Christ. If we take a close look around, quite a number of teens are imitating the rich and famous, the sport stars and pop stars, but very few imitate Jesus Christ. So many people in this world have drifted away from the God given pattern and example of real life in Jesus Christ. There are big screens with movies and stadiums filled with many people looking for excitement in life. They long for more of this life rather than the real life in Jesus Christ. Life is priceless, very precious, and has a whole lot of adventures. There is never a dull or boring day, but it is exciting to serve the Lord. Christianity is a life with new adventures for a new life. There is always something happening that keeps the believer in line and walking in the faith. Jesus is our example of a true Christian, one who walks with their head up high in the good times and the bad. He shows us how to stay in victory and never in defeat, always on top and never down on the bottom. We have the Greatest Book ever in life to keep us growing and going on in the Lord. What a blessing it is to serve the King of kings! God bless you. Amen

Purpose

"The Lord has made everything [to accommodate itself and contribute] to its own end and His own purpose–even the wicked [are fitted for their role] for the day of calamity and evil" (Proverbs 16:4 AMP). A life in Christ is filled with victory because we serve a great and awesome God. He created all and gave all a purpose in this world and universe. He is the Almighty God, the Giver of Life, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and Omega, and the Great I Am. We, the believers, do not lack in this world, for God always makes a way for you I. He created us with a purpose, giving and bringing each one of us into His hope and a bright future with Him in Heaven. What a beautiful life one lives when they serve the Lord. He gives one understanding, knowledge, and wisdom. He grows within the heart of the believer, and He will cause their thoughts to become agreeable to His will and their plans will be established with success. "A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure" (vs.9). There is no failing the Lord when one has faith and puts their trust in Him and walks with Him. He is the Almighty, the Source of our faith, and is its Finisher. Give God praise today. He has given us Life. God bless you. Amen

He who comes to Me

"And Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst'" (John 6:35 NKJV). He who comes to and believes in Jesus will never thirst. Life has its ups and downs and its turnarounds, but with Jesus Christ in the middle of it all nothing will fall. Christ overcame the world at the cross of Calvary. With faith in Christ and the cross, we too can overcome the world and its deceptions, temptations, and lies from the enemy, who wants to control our lives. Sin cannot hold down a born-again believer who puts their faith constantly in Christ Jesus and His cross. The preaching of the cross is the power of God. He came to deliver, save, and bring life to everyone of us who believe. He is the Bread of Life and the Living Waters, and through Him we will have an abundance of life. We must be aware that there are doctrines out there that claim there are other ways to Heaven besides Jesus Christ. However, the only way to God the Father is through Jesus our Lord, who is the Door. The only way to Jesus Christ is through faith in Him and only in Him. It takes faith in Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen

Lawlessness

"Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness" (I John 3:4 NKJV). What is sin? Does sin vary between every individual? Sin comes in all shapes and sizes depending on the individual. It always stands against the Word of God. It comes against the will of God and will not stop until it is satisfied. It will take one where they never thought they would go. Those bound by sin will do things they never thought they would do, even in their wildest imaginations. Sin will leave them there hoping for more and unsatisfied, only to find themselves desperate and wanting more. Sin has no boundaries. It will keep on wanting and taking all it can get from those it has bound. In reality, sin is never satisfied except for only the few seconds that one is caught in it. If one begins to practice and continue in sin, one will find themselves in disobedience and rebellion against God and His Word. They begin to walk in their own independence, under their own will, and into dark judgment. While God will not stop anyone in their sin, He is not the author of sin. He has given us a Savior to save us from all sin. Jesus Christ is the solution, and His blood washes away all our sin. "And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin" (vs.5). Glory to God for His son Jesus, who takes away our sin. Be aware of sin, for it is determined to be in control. God bless you. Amen

They overcame

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death" (Revelation 12:11 NKJV). Sin is when one is bitten by the old serpent himself, Satan. The results of being bitten is death. Satan bit man long ago in the Garden of Eden, and from that time on man has greatly battled the venom of sin. Man has enticed it and played with it, only to allow it to run freely through them without knowing it would only cause death, just like those snake charmers who play with venomous snakes. They see how close they can get to that venomous creature without getting bitten. Man doesn't realize they have already been bitten, and the venom of sin is running through them. Sin has its own attraction. It will make itself look beautiful, desirable, and make the body feel good. However, behind it is the most deadliest bite ever. This bite of sin has killed more humans than anything else on this earth. Sin rages on, but 2000 years ago One came to this earth that was immune to this serpent's bite. He came to save the human race from death. Jesus Christ, the Holy One, willfully allowed the serpent to bite Him with all the sins of the world in His death. His blood became an antidote for all who come to Him. Those who receive this antidote, the blood of Christ, shall live. The blood of Jesus is the cure, the only cure, from this venomous bite called sin. God bless you. Amen

Go.

"And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15 NKJV). What more can we do for the Lord? There is always something we can do. There is a lost world that is in need. There are kids who have no hope and feel as if everyone has abandoned them. They are not only hungry and thirsty, but they are empty and in need of hope in their lives. Everyday we pass by broken hearts, broken homes, and broken lives, and countless times we have turned our heads and looked the other way. Yet, we ask what more we can do for Christ. There is always something to do for Christ. It may not be what we expect or what we want to do because doing something for Christ begins with humility. One must be willing to go beyond their own wants and desires. One must understand it is about souls, not self. It's about being a servant of the Most High, and not for self gain. There is always something to do for Christ, and every soul who is willing to pour into the lost and hopeless souls will be filled, supplied, and blessed beyond measure. There is nothing greater in the ministry than to give. There is always something we can do. God bless you. Amen

Heal their land

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV). We might live in a nation that has let their guard down and has allowed the devil to come in and flood his immoral acts upon the land, but we serve a powerful God. The United States of America was built upon the Word of God. It was prosperous, and God blessed the land because of the God fearing people in the land. Unfortunately, times have changed and the fear of God is not in the government or in the people of the land. How quickly a people can forget the love of the Lord after all He did and still does for them. We have exchanged love, truth, hope, and the Cross of Christ for compromise, and we have sided with the devil himself. We have abandoned our Lord Jesus Christ for a watered down message and a lukewarm relationship with our Savior, and we call it Christianity. Where is the Fire of God? Where is the Spirit of Truth? Where are the watchmen? How much more will God tolerate? He sees the carelessness of His children and the bondage that many people struggle in. There must be a cry. There must be repentance in the land, and it must start in the House of God. "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (II Peter 3:9 NKJV). God has given us time, but how much more time do we really have? God bless you. Amen

My shield.

"You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word" (Psalms 119:114 NKJV). When hope turns into hopelessness, there is a shield to protect the believer. When issues and problems arise that want to bring disorder and gloom to our lives, there is a place we can hide. When trials arise out of the blue and begin to make the mountain that is in front of us bigger than it really is, there is hope. God has made a way for us in these times of need. He calms the storms that rain hopelessness, and the mountains start to look more like hills when we hide in the secret place of the Most High. His Word brings hope to the heart that is flooded by situations that look hopeless. It is a Living Word that lives forever. It can never be quenched. It quickens the soul of man and brings encouragement and life above all the problems of this world. The Psalmist wrote "I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure" (V. 162). The Word of God is a treasure to those who desire it, for those who hide themselves in it and apply it to their hearts. There is not a greater treasure in life or for our lives than the Word of God, which brings hope. God bless you. Amen

In the Light

"But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]" (1 John 1:7 AMP). We are washed and made whole by the blood of Jesus. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. At the appointed time, Christ stood up for us, and through His blood we are washed from our sins. Life is found in the wonderful Light of God, where one can come and find fellowship, encouragement, and cleansing with Christ our Lord. There is no other way to be purged from sin and reconciled to God the Father except by the blood of Christ. We as believers must get into the fellowship of God's great and glorious Light in order to receive the cleansing of His blood. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin, and without having fellowship with Jesus in the Light we to will not be cleansed from any previous sin in our lives. If we say we have no sin, then we live in a lie and only deceive and delude ourselves, and His truth, His word, is not in us. We must have faith in the blood of Jesus. If we come to Him faithfully, trusting in Him and the finished work at Calvary, He will cleanse us of all sin. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9 NKJV). Get into the fellowship of God's glorious life, and watch Him cleanse you from all unrighteousness. God bless you. Amen

Hard after You

"My whole being follows hard after You and clings closely to You; Your right hand upholds me" (Psalm 63:8 AMP). No matter what the situation is that we may be in, just like David, we must be determined to follow hard after God. You may be facing difficult times today, and they might not be so easy to get through. However, just remember that our Lord is out there waiting for your voice to speak to Him. He surrounds Himself around those who cry out to Him, those who are distressed and faint in soul. David knew the only way he could be fulfilled in the time of distress is if he followed hard after God. If you seek God desperately in the days of trouble, He will come to your rescue. Nothing is impossible for our Lord Jesus. This is for every believer. Many of us will profit the same way when we face difficult times. God's hand will reach down, hold us up, and keep us from falling into the hands of the enemy. He is our refuge and our protector in the wilderness that we walk through. Just like David praised God's holy name, we too will praise His name and He will come to our rescue. "Because Your loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You" (Psalm 63:3 AMP). God's love and presence is better than life. God bless you. Amen

O God

"O GOD, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is" (Psalm 63:1 AMP). David was thirsty and hungry for the Lord in the wilderness of Judea. His inner man was in need for something other than the things of this world. David was in need of our Lord Jesus Christ. He longed for the Savor, his Redeemer, his Strong Tower, and his Refuge in a wilderness that was dry and weary. How thirsty are you for the Lord, our God? Will you seek Him until you know that His presence surrounds your life? Do you hunger and thirst for Him beyond pleasures, appetites, wants, and desires of this world? God is calling for the born-again believer in this last hour to desperately thirst for Him. He is looking for servants that have a burden for the lost, which is the harvest, who are in need of the glory of God. David, like most of us, was running for his life because the enemy was hunting him down. There was no sword big enough nor power from man that could stop this enemy of David's. God is the only power and loving Savior that can stop the hand of the devil in our lives. It takes a god-fearing man or woman to seek the face of God and to not be content until the enemy is on the run and their souls are filled with God's presence. God the Father is looking for thirsty servants in this last hour. How thirsty are you? God bless you. Amen

Blessed be God

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3 KJV). Here is a blessing from God the Father, who is in heaven, upon His children. I know Jesus Christ gives us a purpose to live and understanding to have a fulfilled life in Him. The purpose of life that He gives to us is found through His mercy and love. This life will impact others, for what Jesus did for us has impacted the world and universe. He gave His life so that we may have life and be surrendered to Him. He gave his life so that we may learn how to walk in humbleness and unselfishness in this world in order to reach and help others in need. Jesus showed the whole world the greatest example of humbleness. He laid Himself upon the cross and took our debt of sin in order to see us free and living a fulfilled and joyful life. This life comes when every believer finds themselves under the blood covenant that Jesus made with God the Father over 2000 years ago. When one has the blood of Christ applied to their lives, it opens up the Word of God to that soul and along with the Word of God comes the Holy Spirit, which washes, regenerates, and renews that life. Everyone has a chance to have a fulfilled life in Jesus Christ, as long as they still have breath in their lungs and a beat in their heart. Their chances are as good as anyone else's. "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins" (Ephesians 2:1 KJV). Just remember how far we were from Him at one time. The love of God is poured out upon us all. God bless you. Amen

Should not perish.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16 NKJV). Christ's love for every sinner is unbelievable. One cannot fully understand why He would leave His heavenly place and come to the earth to be rejected, laughed at, brutally beaten, and nailed to a cross for a rebellious, disobedient, ungrateful, wicked, and perverted people. God so LOVED the world, that means you and I. Yes, He would do all this for the sinner. He is still at work to save the souls of the whole world, the young, the old, the bound, the free, the blind, the lost, and even kings or queens. He is in the saving business. "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)" (Ephesians 2:4, 5 KJV). What love God has for us all! His love is powerful and giving. It never leaves one alone or in the dark. It is active, powerful, and holy. It drives the born again child to the very ends of the earth to tell others about God's message of love. It sees past the wrongs and looks at the good. His love for the sinner brings hope to the rest of the world. Spread the Love of Christ. God bless you. Amen

For what will it profit a man

"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul" (Mark 8:36, 37 NKJV)? I once lived a life far from the Truth. I was bound by the lies and lusts that I believed in. I was lost in my own wants and chasing ungodly desires. I was a man of this world, blinded by the flesh, the appetites, and all its cravings. I was never satisfied, and I found myself seeking more, wanting more, and looking for more. More of what? What I craved for, whether it be money, drugs, alcohol, sin, or a place to sleep. Every day began in the same way, in which I needed my desires fulfilled. It was always about me and not others. Selfishness is a strong sin, and it held me down for a very long time. Selfishness is the root to all sin, for it will put everything important in life aside just to get what it wants. Families are put on hold, school is forgotten, and relationships will never grow when selfishness is in control. We could have all the money, big beautiful homes, or new cars, but if it is all gained by selfishness one will still have an empty heart and an unfulfilled soul. It wasn't until I opened my heart unto the Lord, for I was going no where with my selfish soul, that He came in, washed me, and filled me beyond my selfish sins. From that day on, I have craved and desired to know Jesus Christ, who looked upon me and took this selfish man in. God bless you. Amen

The blood.

"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" (I John 1:7 NKJV). A perfect picture of Christ is shown to us when God spoke to Moses. God told Moses and Aaron to take a lamb without blemish, a male of the first year. He told them to tell all the congregation of Israel to take the blood of the lamb and put it upon the two doorposts and on the header of every house. When the Lord saw the blood on that house, it would be protected from the plague. This represented the shed blood of Christ. The blood was a token upon the house, which saved the children of Israel through faith. We now have a greater blood sacrifice, the Lamb of God, the Son of God, our Redeemer, and our Savior, who protects all believers who trust in the blood of Jesus Christ. Through having our hearts sprinkled with the Lord's blood, we have access into God's glorious presence. The blood of Christ washes away all sins. Through the blood of Jesus, there is remission of sins and the whole ground of salvation is secured. There is life in the blood of Jesus Christ. Now, through Calvary and by faith, we come into the blood Christ, and Christ's blood, who made a covenant with God the Father, brings all who believe into eternal life in Heaven above. Give God praise, for He gave His very best so that you and I may be washed and made whole through Christ's blood. God bless you. Amen

Delivered

"Many times He delivered them; But they rebelled in their counsel, And were brought low for their iniquity" (Psalms 106:43 NKJV). Remember the many times we disobeyed the Lord to do our own thing, only to find ourselves far from Him and all alone? Remember when decided to cry out for help, the many times that His grace and mercy came to us in our time of need? God is faithful to His covenant. The children of Israel had a hard time walking with the Lord. They would walk with Him for a time when it benefited them, then the attractions of the world that would so easily arouse the flesh, the sin nature, would lead them away from trusting and believing in God. It is no different today than it was thousands of years ago in the wilderness. So many people are losing their souls due to the attractions of the flesh. They have their hearts in Christ, but no strength to control the sinful desires. "Thus they were defiled by their own works, And played the harlot by their own deeds" (vs. 39). When we take our eyes off of God's Holiness, we too can easily fall into the same old sin that the flesh hungers for. Jesus must be in every thing we plan to do. The minute we set His Word aside and chase after our own wants we will be found in a world of mess. However, God is true and faithful. He keeps His Word. He hears the cry of His children in the world today, just as He heard them in the wilderness. We are just a cry away from freedom. Keep your eyes on Christ. God bless you. Amen

The upward call of God

"I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:14 NKJV). Press on to Jesus Christ, and preach and speak the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ and His cross. Jesus came to save the lost and to set us all free from sin by going to Calvary. Through His blood by faith, we have all been washed and made whole into a new creation. The apostle Paul got filled with the Holy Spirit, and from that day on he never went back to his old lifestyle but pursued Christ in his new life. Through the storms, troubles, and sufferings, this man of God stood up to every trial, test, and temptation that came his way. He desired none other but to win Christ. Today, men and women of God live within a small circle. Their very existence is seeking the interests of Christ. They are bound to the Living Word of God and are unshakable by the trials and demands of this world. They have a heart for Jesus and only want to know Jesus. They have been touched by the Holy Spirit and seek a greater knowledge and intimacy of Christ our Lord. Day and night they have their minds set on nothing other than Jesus Christ in their lives. They imagine how the world would be if everyone would serve the King of Glory. They will not stop seeking God until they see their loved ones, their community, and their countries saved for Christ. There is no stopping a born again believer who wants only Jesus Christ in their lives. God bless you. Amen

The time will come.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables" (II Timothy 4:3, 4 NKJV). Stand up in our Lord Jesus Christ through faith in Him, and do not be moved to the left or to the right in this late hour. I have heard and seen a few people walking away from Christ Jesus. We live in a time where man has made the message of God, the Great Gospel, into a powerless form of religion. So many people have compromised the Truth of Christ for a comfortable self pleasing way of living, and they call it church. Jesus has called us to fulfill the great commission, to go out and teach and preach everything He has taught us. In doing so, we do it from His example through the Holy Spirit. However, the message of prosperity of oneself and the once saved always saved message has blinded so many people who once walked in the true faith. Many messages are coming from pulpits, across the airwaves, and through the television that are a disgrace to The Cross of Christ. They do not speak of repentance but always being saved under grace. One must repent in order to have eternal life with our Lord, and one must have faith in Christ Jesus in order to receive His grace. Be aware and on guard in these last days, for men have made the message of Christ into a merchandize and million-dollar business. Be watchful, for there are many imitators out there who desire to build their own kingdom. God bless you. Amen

By Faith

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:26 KJV). Today is a new day. It is a day that is filled with promises and hopes from our Lord Jesus. Yesterday has come and gone, just as today will become yesterday. However, God's promises are forever. They stand true and sure for all who believe in Him. Christ came to give His life so that you and I may have eternal life with Him. What Jesus did 2,000 years ago is still good for all humanity today and forever more. He never changes. It is us who change from day to day. These are the days to stay close to the Lord more than anything else in life. Families are being brought down by the things of the flesh. Men and women no longer fight for their loved ones, but they surrender to the passions of the flesh. Jesus went to the cross because of sin, and it is the same sin today that is breaking up homes and relationships, between one another and the Lord. Jesus has been faithful all these years, and He would like to see you and I living in the same faithfulness. Give God praise for His faithfulness. God bless you. Amen

Let Us Hold Fast

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)" (Hebrews 10:23 KJV). God is faithful, and His arms are not too short to save nor His ears too far to hear. When man looks at the impossible, God sees it as possible. He is not stopped by anything. He waits for the opportunity to move upon the land through someone of faith. He waits to hear the voice of all His children, especially those who desire to commune with Him and hunger for a deeper intimacy with Him. Jesus is always near to the humble hearted. He never gives up on His children, but He is willing to stand up for them in times of need. God knows our needs, understands our desires, and is always willing to take care of our cares if they line up with His will. We have to keep moving forward in the Word of the Lord, never doubting or losing hope in the promises of God. He is faithful to His Word. "But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil" (2 Thessalonians 3:3 KJV). God never loses sight of us and is there to protect us from all evil. He wants the very best for us and nothing less. Keep the faith in Jesus. God bless you. Amen

Arm Yourselves Also With the Same Mind

"Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God" (I Peter 4:1, 2 NKJV). Temptation, when one is drawn away and enticed by their own desires, usually hits when one least expects it to. Temptation draws the heart towards the lusts of this world and soon demands to be in full control. When one is drawn away, enticed by temptation, it becomes sin. When sin has a full grip of one's heart, it matures into spiritual death. So, the apostle Peter tells us to arm ourselves with the same mind as Christ. In other words, expect sufferings to come when one wants to live a life separated for Jesus Christ. A great price is paid when one stands up for Christ and when one suffers for the cross. Then, that believer will not take their call lightly, for it has caused them to suffer. Christ called us to be one with Him and not to be involved with the things of this world as we once were. It is better to suffer for doing right then to suffer for doing wrong. Jesus has called us to be separated from the worldly lusts and the passions that come with it. He's called us to stand upright in the Spirit and to live a life according to the Word of God. Just as Jesus put away the filth of the flesh by taking it to the cross, we too must arm ourselves with the same purpose and heart to please Christ in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen

Be Sober, Be Vigilant

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (I Peter 5:8 NKJV). Our enemy, satan himself, is always out to stop the believer from receiving a greater faith. He is after those who are easy prey, those who struggle in their walk with Christ. Scripture says, satan is like a roaring lion that is walking about and seeking whom he may devour. He roars in order to intimidate and place fear in the believer's heart. He never stops. He is ever so seeking to find a child of God to devour on. He comes in subtly with a little temptation here and there, trying to stop the believer's faith in Christ. When one is trapped by the devil, he will accuse and point out every fault in them and bring condemnation to the believer. He does this in order to break the believer and draw them away from Christ and the cross. Satan wants to get them alone so he can be the voice to their hearts. I have been there before, and the only way out of the devil's trap is through the blood of Jesus Christ. Christ is merciful, loving, and has a forgiving heart. When the devil doesn't want to stop, we too must not stop believing that Jesus defeated satan and his darkness at Calvary's Hill. Arise under the blood of Christ, for our sins have been washed away. We are all covered by the blood covenant Jesus made with God the Father. We just have to believe and have faith in the finished work at Calvary. There is power in the blood of Jesus. God bless you. Amen

Anointed

"Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah" (I Samuel 16:13 NKJV). Goliath was not going to stop speaking down against the Army of Israel until he got total victory, and the Army of Israel was not going to prevail over this giant until they got under the anointing of God the Father. Young David was anointed with a king's anointing, but he would not sit on the king's throne for many years. God had to prepare this young man at a young age. He was being prepared for the plan and destiny God had for his life. Young David kept his father's sheep. He was in the fields tending to his father's business as an adolescent. He grew to protect his father's sheep. David watched over them with his life. When the enemy of the sheep came near, he did not run but stood up against the enemy. He fought a bear and a lion. He learned skills from being out there in the field. He taught himself how to praise God the Father and how to sing songs unto Him. Young David was what God was looking for, and God anointed him. Then, he heard Goliath speaking against God the Father in Heaven, and it did something within young David's heart. It brought out a supernatural strength, where all fear was gone. David grabbed five smooth stones, put them in his shepherd's bag, and ran to meet this great giant. The philistine giant went down with the shepherd's stone stuck in his forehead. This is what the anointing of God does. It does not keep us in pews, but it sends us forth before the giants. The enemy cannot stop or intimidate the Spirit of God within a person's life, for they know the power of God within their hearts. God bless you. Amen

A servant

"But Jesus called them to Himself and said to them, 'You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant'" (Mark 10:42, 43 NKJV). To became great in our Lord is to be a servant for Him. Jesus came to serve, not to be served. He came to be a servant to all humanity, and He was a great servant. Then, He went to the cross and became an even greater servant, as a sacrifice for you and I. To be a servant for the Lord, one must love the people in order to serve the people. One must have a burden to see people make it in this last hour. To serve is to sacrifice one's life and time for a purpose. A servant sees the needs of others and will put themselves aside to take care of the needy. They will go out of their way and find time to help those who are in need of help and to bring Christ to those who are in need of Christ. To be a servant of the Most High is the greatest job that a man or woman could ever have, for they work not for the wages of this world but for the treasures that are found in Heaven. Great is a servant of God, for they will be taken care of and rewarded here on Earth as they serve others. Look around. The world is in need of servants for Christ. God bless you. Amen

I pray

"Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice" (Psalms 55:17 KJV). Our Lord rejoices to hear His children praising and singing new songs unto Him. He loves the sound of the child of God lifting Him up above all else. Jesus, You have never forsaken me nor left me alone. Every time I cry out to You, You hear and come near to me. There is no other like You. You are faithful to Your Word. While others have rejected me and walked away from me in the time of trial and need, Lord Jesus, You've always been there when no one else was there. "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved" (Psalms 55:22 KJV). You are my help and refuge, the Great I AM. When I fall, You pick me up. When I'm going through struggles, You're there to save me and lead me back to Your glorious hands. I need You more today than yesterday. Yesterday has already passed and gone, but today is a new day. I need You Lord Jesus to keep me strong. When my flesh tries to take over, I can trust in You, My God, to keep me going strong. When persecution arises against me, I will not fear for You are my Strong Tower. Your my help. "So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me" (Hebrews 13:6 KJV). Christ is our help at all times. God bless you. Amen

For we wrestle

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12 KJV). We are in a spiritual battle. This battle is not one of flesh. No, it is a spiritual battle, one that is after the heart of man, turning them from the Truth. This battle is against strongholds, powers, and darkness that keep so many bound in spiritual chains, spiritual darkness, and spiritual defeat over and over again. Strongholds could follow one's life forever, keeping them bound to the past if they do not surrender in the name of Jesus Christ. They must be willing to fight the good fight of faith. There are many strongholds that surround lives today, and there are many dark powers that we must confront every day. There is rejection, jealousy, envy, drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography, hopelessness, suicide, and the list goes on. Strongholds oppress the mind, which gives the enemy a way in to do more damage. It is a spiritual oppression, and many look perfect on the outside but the inside is chained and behind a wall with no way out. Jesus is the way out, for no stronghold can consume His power. We must pray in the Holy Spirit and fight the devil with the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. We must not allow the enemy to take ground anymore, but we must resist him. God bless you. Amen

Merciful

"The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy" (Psalms 103:8 KJV). God's mercies endure forever from generation to generation. God has released His mercies upon this earth for all humanity to receive, and it's up to humanity to receive it. God is a merciful God. He sent His Only Begotten Son to die for us that we may have life abundantly. He demonstrated His mercy for us at the cross of Calvary. When we were all sinners, Christ Jesus died for us, giving everyone who hears the message hope to be reconciled back to God the Father. When a child of God falls by diverse temptations, God shines His mercy upon that child and speaks to the heart saying, "arise". Once again, God shows us all His lovingkindness and His mercy. The mercy of God is upon all people today, so that everyone can recognize that He is Lord and King. However, there are those who have denied His existence, who will walk away from His truth and soon find themselves far from God's mercy in the world of wrath. However, if that man or woman ever decided to surrender to the Lord, all they would have to do is call upon the name of the Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ, who is able to hear them and come to their aid. He is our Refuge and our Savior in the time of need. God bless you. Amen
