O God
"O GOD, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is" (Psalm 63:1 AMP). David was thirsty and hungry for the Lord in the wilderness of Judea. His inner man was in need for something other than the things of this world. David was in need of our Lord Jesus Christ. He longed for the Savor, his Redeemer, his Strong Tower, and his Refuge in a wilderness that was dry and weary. How thirsty are you for the Lord, our God? Will you seek Him until you know that His presence surrounds your life? Do you hunger and thirst for Him beyond pleasures, appetites, wants, and desires of this world? God is calling for the born-again believer in this last hour to desperately thirst for Him. He is looking for servants that have a burden for the lost, which is the harvest, who are in need of the glory of God. David, like most of us, was running for his life because the enemy was hunting him down. There was no sword big enough nor power from man that could stop this enemy of David's. God is the only power and loving Savior that can stop the hand of the devil in our lives. It takes a god-fearing man or woman to seek the face of God and to not be content until the enemy is on the run and their souls are filled with God's presence. God the Father is looking for thirsty servants in this last hour. How thirsty are you? God bless you. Amen
