The blood.

"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" (I John 1:7 NKJV). A perfect picture of Christ is shown to us when God spoke to Moses. God told Moses and Aaron to take a lamb without blemish, a male of the first year. He told them to tell all the congregation of Israel to take the blood of the lamb and put it upon the two doorposts and on the header of every house. When the Lord saw the blood on that house, it would be protected from the plague. This represented the shed blood of Christ. The blood was a token upon the house, which saved the children of Israel through faith. We now have a greater blood sacrifice, the Lamb of God, the Son of God, our Redeemer, and our Savior, who protects all believers who trust in the blood of Jesus Christ. Through having our hearts sprinkled with the Lord's blood, we have access into God's glorious presence. The blood of Christ washes away all sins. Through the blood of Jesus, there is remission of sins and the whole ground of salvation is secured. There is life in the blood of Jesus Christ. Now, through Calvary and by faith, we come into the blood Christ, and Christ's blood, who made a covenant with God the Father, brings all who believe into eternal life in Heaven above.
