The door.
"Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep" (John 10:7 NKJV). Back in biblical times, the shepherd would build a corral with stone, and then place thorny branches on top of the stone to keep the wolves or any other predators out. The entry way was for the shepherd. They had no gate or door. This was the shepherd's place. He was the door. It was the shepherd's job to watch over his flock and make sure no predators came near them. He had a staff, and he would scare the predators away and line up his flock in the right direction with his staff. At sundown, he would gather them all, call them into the entryway, and keep watch over them as they slept. In early morning, the shepherd would move out of the entryway, allowing the sheep to go by, and count his sheep as they went out into the pasture. They were familiar with his voice. He was the one who protected them, who led them to water and green pastures. We have a greater Shepherd, who is Jesus Christ, who takes care of us and leads us through every valley. He is the door, the one who protects us from the enemy, restores us, and brings us into full life. He leads us into the living water. He is the Living Water. He is our Bread of Life, for we shall never hunger nor thirst. Jesus is our everything. He is watching over you and I forever. God bless you. Amen

And you shall know the truth
"Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32 NKJV). The Word of God is powerful. It is alive, active, and ever so moving upon the soul who allows it. The Word of God will either put a man on his knees, or the man will run from the Word. This is our daily bread, and we must believe totally in what we are communing with. Jesus Christ is the Word and the Truth, all-in-one. This is the Living Word of God, and it has been given unto everyone of us. It is our instruction in righteousness. It is to edify, build, correct, and discipline. The Word of God is Jesus Christ. If we abide in His word, He will abide in us. He is and always will be the Everlasting Word. Man has always tried to get rid of this Word, only to find out it can never be taken away from a heart that is surrendered wholly to God. One cannot be ignorant to the fact that when they open up this Word it speaks truth and nothing other than the truth. Jesus Christ is the Truth, which comes forth as the Word. He is all in all. Everything about this Word is Jesus Christ. He is alive and living. He is the Lord of lords, our risen King. Living in the truth is living in Jesus Christ. There is abundant life that awaits everyone who knows the truth. The Truth is Jesus, and Jesus shall make you free. God bless you. Amen

I AM the Resurrection
"Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying" (John 11:25 NLT). It's all about Jesus. Christ is everything. Everything that God has given us and shows to us in the Word of God points to Jesus Christ. This is what the Word of God brings us. It is all about our Lord Jesus. In the Gospel of John, we hear about Jesus being in the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. Without Jesus, we would not have any gospels. We would not have any Word of God, for He is the Word of God. He is all that we need in our lives. We also read about Jesus being the Bread of Life. He is the bread that brings life to man, and anyone who eats of this bread will have everlasting life. God's eye is on Jesus Christ. He only beholds our Lord. I hope that we all may realize that Christ Jesus is everything that you and I need. He is also the giver of the living waters that bring life to the church and a barren heart. Our Lord is the head of the church, the beginning and the end. Through Him and in Him, we will flourish and be seen in the light of His Majesty. He is the light of this world, and those who follow in His steps will also walk in the light and not in the darkness. He is our authority, our creator, and the Great I AM. Give our Lord praise. God bless you. Amen

By faith
"For we walk by faith, not by sight" (II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV). All eyes on our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith is the path we are walking in, and the Light of Christ is the lead. Under the will of the Lord, a person is built into an image that can be recognized. There is nothing more greater than one who has given themselves to the will and guidance of the Holy One. This is a life of victory over the enemy, when a person can renounce their own abilities, talents, goals, and lifestyles. The devil can't find a way into the child of God. All areas of their own lives have been given to the King of Glory. Every stone has been turned over. There is nothing hiding in the dark. It all has come into the light. The world is behind them. There is nothing that draws them away from the Kingdom of God. They have made up their minds that they cannot turn back. Their eyes are not on this world as much as they are on the Lord above. They walk with the Word of God. They are hungry for more knowledge, clarity, and love from above. Walk by faith and see the Lord move in your midst. God bless you. Amen

The people who sat in darkness
"The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned” (Matthew 4:16 NKJV). Darkness has had its way through this earth into many organizations, governments, homes, and lives. It will not stop unless there is Light. Jesus Christ came into this world to serve each and everyone of us and to bring us all out of darkness. The only way darkness will flee is when the light is turned on. Are we tired of the darkness that runs rapid in our streets, schools, workplaces, and homes? Are we tired yet of seeing and hearing the news that is filled with violence and murder, which comes through darkness? It's time, church of Christ, for every believer to stand against the darkness, just as Jesus showed us through the Gospels and the epistles. It's time to come together under one faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work at the cross, in unity with prayer and fasting against the darkness that has made its way so easily into this world. This is not about prosperity, nor is it about receiving a blessing, but this is about the arising of a generation who needs to know the true Light of Jesus Christ. The first place our Lord Jesus went to was a place where people were bound in darkness. Where darkness is, the shadow of death is there along with it. The babies of this world need to see Jesus Christ. However, His reflection of holiness, love, grace, and mercy can only be reflected through you and I, the church. Let us not waste time. God bless you. Amen

A child is born
"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6 NKJV). We are blessed, and we don't even know how much. Jesus has done it all for you and I. He has made a path that we can all walk on. He came humbly into the world without a single complaint. He willingly left His place in heaven to come and save us. Our Lord Jesus stands above any government of this world, universe, or heavens. He stands for righteousness, holiness, forgiveness, and peace. He lacks nothing, for He is ever able and capable of doing the impossible for His children. Our Lord Jesus is wonderful. He has given us life that we do not deserve. He is our counselor, whom we can call upon at all hours, whether day or night. He will hear us and speak to us. He is mighty. He made all the heavens and the earth. He gave us the right to walk upon it and have dominion over it. He is the Beginning and the End, the Everlasting God, and the Prince of Peace. We must continue to recognize how blessed everyone of us are to have such a wonderful Savior. One of these days we will be in the Messiah's kingdom walking in His glorious light. So, let us encourage one another with the Word of God and rejoice in our beautiful Savior. God bless you. Amen

God with us
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, 'God with us' (Matthew 1:23 NKJV). God is with us. He has been with you and I since the day we took our first breath of air. He has not changed. He's been there every step of the way, watching you and I as we played. What a beautiful sight that must've been, our Savior coming into this world to stand with us and to purchase you and I from sin's grasp. Through the ages, kings that were working under the efforts of Satan tried to stop the Lord from being born. Not only did they try with Mary and Joseph, but as seen in scripture, satan spiritually killed the very first man and succeeded. However, God had another plan even before the world was ever established. "And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots". Throughout time, God ever so protected the lineage of our Savior. We can never underestimate the power of our God and the protection He brings to those He calls His children. Satan cannot stop the generations of our Lord Jesus, and he could not stop the blood of Christ at Calvary. Satan could not keep our Lord Jesus in the grave. Death has no authority over Christ. Satan will not and cannot stop us, God's children, from doing the commission our Lord has given unto us. God is with us. God bless you. Amen

Firstborn son
"So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn" (Luke 2:6-7 NKJV). Beautiful Jesus was born that night to a virgin who knew no man. I believe Mary and Joseph were frightened and scared for their lives. They were brand-new parents that were given a child from on high, Emanuel, who would save the world. However, through all they endured and as frightening as it might've been, what they saw and heard built great faith in them. They knew without a doubt the Son of God was born. What a humble way our Lord Jesus came into this world. All of the universe and the heavens stood still in awe and watched as they were amazed at the King of Glory being born that great night. The angels were singing and ushering the newborn King into this world. Praises were heard throughout the heavens as the Child of God took His first breath of air. I believe at this time even hell shook as that first cry from baby Jesus came out of the stable. Satan knew there was something wrong. He sensed that the Glory of God came upon this earth. From that time until now, he has tried to kill the newborn child. Let's rejoice always in the name of the Lord Jesus, just as the angels do. "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men” (Luke 2:13,14 NKJV)! God bless you. Amen

His indescribable gift
"Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift" (II Corinthians 9:15 NKJV)! If it wasn't for Jesus Christ and His blood, we would all be lost and headed down a road of death. However, He saw the need that you and I had. So, He came a precious gift so that we all could be given a second chance at life. Come, let us follow our Lord's example this season. Let us give out of our hearts to those who are in need of a gift and let it not be just any kind of gift, but one that shows the love of Christ. God has given us His very Son to shine among us, through us, and into a world in need. This is a special time of the year, where family, friends, and loved ones get together, exchange gifts, and speak about the year that has just passed, like the exciting events that have taken place. It is a time of remembrance for someone who may have lost a loved one. This is also the time many have forgotten about. It is a time to rejoice in the life of Jesus Christ, a life He has given also unto us. This is a beautiful time, where we can all laugh and enjoy the warmth of one another and let others know that there is a great gift in Jesus Christ. It is a time and season, not just to receive but to give, to give back to those in need, those that have not. Do not let this season pass you by without touching a life in a powerful way. God bless you. Amen

The place of my rest
"Thus says the LORD: “Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?" (Isaiah 66:1 NKJV). The Lord's throne is in Heaven. It is there that He waits for you and I. He asks a question, not only to the children of Israel several thousand years ago, but to you and I also. Where is the house we have built for Him? If we desire Jesus Christ, we will place Him and allow Him to live and have dominion in our hearts. Just like the throne He has up in heaven, we also desire to allow Him to live and be enthroned upon our hearts. There is no other way to live for Jesus Christ. He must live within us. He must be in charge and rule our lives. In doing so, we draw from the fountain of living water at the altar of prayer, when we are crying out and seeking His face. Our Lord looks at those of a broken heart and contrite spirit, those who have surrendered and have given up on this world and its ungodly enterprises, and those who are willing to walk away from every passion and attraction that comes from this world. God is not looking for just another pew warmer, but for a place He can rest His Holy Spirit in. He wants a vessel who wants the best for their life and their home. Jesus is the Way, the only way to God the Father. We must follow the Way. We must become a vessel for Jesus. God bless you. Amen

Remain in my love.
“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love" (John 15:9 NLT). Jesus is our mighty redeemer, who has come to reconcile us through His blood and to bring you and I back to God the Father. Christ Jesus has made it very possible for you and I to live a life free from this world. God gave us His Only Begotten Son as a gift for everyone who desires eternal life beyond the grave. Jesus also desires that you and I grow into His image and show those of this world how much love, mercy, and grace He has for humanity. God has given us such a powerful gift, and He is trusting you and I with it. He has given us His Spirit to show men, women, and children around us that there is a God beyond this world, a living God that is willing to love and save them from this world. He brings life to a dead soul and heals the sick. He made us, and He knows how to save us. He breaks the chains that holds and ties down one's soul, and He brings liberty to those that are bound. How precious our Lord Jesus is that He would come and give us life when we do not deserve it. God bless you. Amen

Love your enemy.
"If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee" (Proverbs 25:21-22 KJV). Love covers a multitude of sin and melts away the hardness of hearts. Jesus said, "love your enemies", and in doing so we will show them the truth and love of Christ Jesus. Jesus loved even His greatest enemy unto death. Christ showed us the love He has for everyone of us by dying on the cross for us. At the cross, He did not choose those whom He was dying for. His love is so great and so real that His death was for every one of us. The love that Christ has given you and I, by him surrendering His life for everyone, is worthy of sharing with our enemies. Why is it so hard to forgive someone? Well, it can be personal, but to forgive them and show them Christ is something they will never understand. We may not have control over the conduct of others, but we can sure represent Christ through our actions. Evil only breeds evil. It grows bigger and darker. However, giving to those in need, whether they are our enemy or not, is well worth it. "Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18 NLT). God bless you. Amen

God shall bless us
"God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him" (Psalms 67:7 NKJV). God blesses in unusual ways. He asked a virgin girl to be the mother of the Savior of the world, and she excepted the gift, not really expecting the outcome from those around her. What looked and appeared as sin to the human eye, was a blessing for the whole world. This looked like sin to those who had no knowledge of God's plan for humanity, but it turned out to be our Savior, Jesus Christ. God does some powerful things. Many times we may not understand or see the full picture of it. However, with Christ in charge we know without a doubt it is not going to fail. The Lord blesses in ways we do not realize. Sometimes we may see and notice and other times we don't see until it's right in front of us. God will take something small that has been pushed aside by man and make it big before man. Christ showed Himself to a man named Saul, and from that moment on that man, Saul, gave his life to Jesus Christ. What we think is impossible and maybe a little crazy, is possible and made right by our Lord Jesus Christ. For years Sarah was barren and without a child, and when she was in old age the Lord opened up her womb and gave her a man child. Gideon was the least in his father's house, but God turned it around and made him into a mighty man of Valor. Whoever thought that God would bless you and I in such a unique way. We serve an awesome God who is willing and able to prove to us that He is still in charge. Your blessing may be coming the way you were not expecting, but remember Jesus knows what He's doing. Give God praise. God bless you. Amen

Spirit and truth
"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24 NKJV). Waiting on the Lord must be a desire from within the heart. It comes from the hunger one has to get into the deep presence of God. This person will put all interruptions aside and get alone with the Holy Spirit, calling on the name of Jesus. We, the born again believers, must utilize the gift given to us from our Lord Jesus. It is through the Holy Spirit that we can get closer to God and in the fellowship of His light. We have been given such a beautiful gift, one that has come from Heaven above to live within us, to bring correction to us, and to show us Jesus Christ. It is very important that we, the church, keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning within us. The Holy Spirit only knows what God the Father gives it. It will not adapt to the things of this world, nor will the Holy Spirit take part in our fleshly desires. It comes from above and it hungers and thirsts for the Living Word of God. The Holy Spirit lives and loves. As much as He loves, He will not partake in any earthly rituals or man made religion, because the Holy Spirit is what brings the church closer to the head of the church, Christ Jesus. His source comes from the throne room of God and that is all that the Holy Spirit needs. That is why we must learn to rely on the Spirit of God and trust in Him every day. Get alone with Him, for He desires to know you. God bless you. Amen

Tremble
"The waters saw You, O God; The waters saw You, they were afraid; The depths also trembled" (Psalms 77:16 NKJV). Just mention the name of Jesus, and the storms all calm around you. Just mention the name of Jesus, and satan will begin to run from you. Just mention the name of Jesus, and the blind will see, the dead will rise, the deaf will hear, and the mute will sing. Powerful things happen when you and I sincerely mention the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Demons tremble at the name of Jesus. His name is a name above all names, one that no one can ever conquer. The name of Jesus is excellence. It is true, righteous, holy, and blameless. Jesus moves mountains. He stops the rain. He is the head of the church. He is the beginning and the end. That name has saved you and I from eternal hell, from the utter darkness, along with torment and eternal misery. Jesus died for you and I. His name has conquered death, and sin has no dominion over Him. He is all we ever needed. He brings life to the fullest. There is no greater name in all the heavens than the name of Jesus. "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth"(Philippians 2:10 NKJV). God bless you. Amen

Death through sin
"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— "(Romans 5:12 NKJV). The sin nature came through Adam, and unfortunately everyone of us who is born upon this earth has a sin nature. Sin has no power, except only over those who allow it to reign in their lives. Sin can look so fun and attractive from the outside. It could taste, smell, and feel good all at the same time. Many times it disguises itself with something so innocent and pure. Once the door to sin is open there is no telling how long it will stay or how hard it will be to get it out of the way. Sin tends to do what it wants. So, don't think for a minute that it won't take over your soul and pronounce it's lordship over your heart. It is like a nasty cold, one that you just cannot shake off. Sin continues to prick at the heart with the constant hunger for more. There is no stopping it, except for through the blood of Jesus. The blood washes away our sin stained hearts and saves us from sin's death, bringing you and I to the Lord Jesus, who has died for us to be free. "For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous" (V:19). God bless you. Amen

No longer I who live
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). Jesus Christ, who awaits us, is looking down from the throne room of God the Father and interceding on our behalf that we would endure to the end. Jesus Christ has given us His heart, His personality, and His example in the church. He has given us the Holy Spirit so that you and I might grow into His image and reflect it in this world. As a man, Jesus did supernatural and powerful things, such as deliverances and things only the heavenly Father could do. He showed the church that what is impossible to the carnal man is not impossible to the spiritual man. He brought light to the dark world that has been covered and blanketed with selfishness and pride. There's only one way to live for Jesus Christ and that is to die to self. As a born-again believer, to die to self is not only in our vocabulary, but it becomes a daily habit. To live is not me, but letting Christ live in me. It is not about gaining power, nor is it about prosperity upon this earth. It is about representing Jesus Christ and His heavenly presence in the church today. We all need to come to the place where we will say, "Not I, but Christ". God bless you. Amen

Out of darkness
"Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces" (Psalms 107:13-14 NKJV). We are free, free from distress, free from darkness, and free from the shadow of darkness of death. Jesus is good. He loved us all so much that He died for you and I. When we were lost and chained by the world nothing seemed to help us come out from the darkness. All that was around us was sin, which brings forth death and everlasting darkness. It is a world of carelessness, driven by the appetites of the flesh. Every sin looked attracting and desirous. Some of us felt our world would not be fulfilled without them. Time goes by very fast, and when one is locked in by the flesh years can pass by as one day. Then, we wake up and notice we're far behind but the rest are ahead. It's no joke, darkness can keep one in the dark. Thank you Jesus for the life and light you bring to those who cry out for freedom. Thank you Jesus for never condemning me of sin and wickedness. When we choose freedom, the Lord will set us free. The chains will break, be crushed, and never to be put on again. God bless you. Amen

Faith and patience
"That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises" (Hebrews 6:12 KJV). There are many times, along with many hours, that many of us spend in prayer. Then comes the time when we can get hindered by unanswered prayers, which causes us to stop praying for that specific thing or someone. Sometimes we do not see immediate change to the problem or to our loved one's life that we have been praying about. So, we quit asking God in prayer. Pray is a spiritual battle, and having a prayer life is a spiritual discipline. Many times we have to fight ourselves in order to pray. A lot of times many don't even breakthrough themselves in prayer. So, we have countries and possibly thousands of churches that have given up on prayer. If we are not asking, how do we expect to receive? We need patience, Godly patience. Then, we have the devil who tries to hinder us, deprive us, and conquer us in our prayers, hoping it would lead us up to total loss of faith. Seeking the Lord is not to be taken lightly. God has given us His very Word. We will receive an inheritance, which is His promise if we continue to endure. God does not ignore our labor. He sees everything you and I do for His will. He asked that we continue diligently and seek Him out. "... for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6 KJV). God bless you. Amen

The word of their testimony
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death"(Revelation 12:11 KJV). Through the blood of Jesus we are more than conquerors. We are free! Christ has made a way, and through His way He brings us freedom from all this world and everything of it. There was a time when I was bound up by drugs, alcohol, perversion, and all kinds of other darkness, and I assumed that I was free. It seemed like as long as I was having a good time everything would be okay. One thing I didn't know was all along there was a prince of darkness behind all the "good times". He had his hand in there all the time, with all the drugs and alcohol I was involved with. I didn't know that such things could wrap a man so deeply into himself. It took more than a crowbar to get me apart from it. Then, a time came when I just could never get ahead. It seemed like everything began to fall apart in my life. It began to crumble right before me. The devil will always have his way, as long as this world has our heart. Unfortunately, there are many people that will never be set free. However, I thank God that I am free through His blood, which washes me. We all have a testimony to proclaim to a dark and lawless world. Gird up your loins, be steadfast in the work of our Christ Jesus, and allow His Spirit to saturate you. You are also a living testimony for Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen

Seek me diligently
"I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me" (Proverbs 8:17 NKJV). Shut yourself in with the Holy Spirit, because the church is in need of seeing Jesus Christ in this late hour. There is a world out there that is in need of the Truth, and many are going to hell. It can only be brought forth through the presence of God. The Lord can only move when one desires to be in the Lord's presence. Without the presence of God, we will not have a church. It takes the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ to build the church, to move within the church, and to set those in bondage free that are inside the church. However, we see that time can get in the way of our time with the Lord Jesus. Our personal business and even church business, can get in the way of our alone time with the Lord. Many call "study time" prayer, but many don't even pray as they once did before. Leonard Ravenhill said, "the prayer meeting is the least attended," and that is true, even in our church today. If you get a superstar evangelist the church house will fill up, but you call a prayer meeting and only the few that hunger for the presence of God will show up. We have to get back to the deep presence of our Lord, and it comes through prayer and fasting. One must hunger for a deep need and have a burden for a great awakening. We have been called and chosen by our Lord Jesus Christ to pray. So, we must lay aside every distraction, every interruption, every crisis, and every temptation, and get alone with Jesus Christ in the prayer closet. God bless you. Amen

Cleanse ourselves
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Corinthians 7:1 KJV). After each command, the Lord has given us many promises and blessings. He has commanded us to come out from among all unbelievers, to live a life separated from the gods of this world, and to not get caught up in any filthiness, which only seduces the flesh. He has commanded us to be pure and to live a life faithful unto the Lord, filled with the Holy Spirit. We are to live a life that is able to show others the Truth through the Word of God. He asks us to live a holy life, under the knowledge of His Word and guided by His very hand. Battles will come, and the battle will be against self. Self has a hard time giving up the things it was so used to indulging in. There are certain appetites that self has opened the door to that are totally against God's will. These appetites of the flesh need to be crucified daily. There are great promises that await the believer, and God is willing to pour them down upon each and everyone of us if we obey His Word. "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty" (2 Corinthians 6:17-18 KJV). God bless you. Amen

Gave him a name
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name" (Philippians 2:9 KJV). There is no other name above the name of Jesus. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Great I Am. Nothing would exist without Him, because in Him all things exist. Through Jesus, the devil has been defeated. He has been put under the Lord's feet. The name of Jesus is powerful and has authority over all dominions and principalities. He has given us the authority to speak His name to every issue, to every problem, and to every devil in hell that comes against us. Many have taken the name of Jesus out of their vocabulary. Some don't even preach about Him and others just ignore the fact that He is the True Savior, The Risen One. Jesus came under the authority of God, willing to do the command of the Father. He came into this world to save the lost in the world, a world in need, a world covered in darkness. What Jesus did at the cross proves His love for all humanity, for each and everyone of us. "But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him: and with His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:4). He took the nails so you and I could be free. God bless you. Amen

These all continued
"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren" (Acts 1:14 KJV). 120 believers waited in the upper room. As they were there, they prayed to the Living God, waiting for Him to pour out His promise upon them. They believed in Jesus Christ, for they saw miraculous and supernatural miracles being done by this man they called "teacher". They were not about to move nor were they going to allow anyone or anything stop them from the promise of God's Spirit coming upon them. Persecution did not get in their way, and the thought of going to prison did not stop them from seeking Jesus Christ. How beautiful and wonderful God is, for He poured out His presence upon all men and women in that upper room, and from that day forth the church began and has not stopped ever since. We, the believer, are God's representatives. We are His chosen ambassadors. We, the church, represent Jesus Christ. I have been nothing but the Truth. Jesus began the church, for He is the head of the church and there is no other head. He is what the church is to be. His very image is to reflect from the pulpit into the pews and from the pews into the streets of our cities and towns. Why are we not seeing Christ in our churches today? The enemy has come in and put compromise behind the pulpit and entertainment as worship. No wonder our streets are damaged and stained by the enemy. We must get desperate in this late hour and allow Christ to fill our hearts with the Holy Spirit. God bless you. Amen

There is liberty
"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV). The power of the Holy Spirit moves lives, cities, and nations. It is God's presence moving upon the world, through men who are willing to surrender all to Christ. The Holy Spirit was given to humanity by God, but the only way one can receive the Holy Spirit is if they are born-again unto Christ Jesus. This comes with a price, and the price is to surrender our entire being into the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the battle that the church faces today. It not so much that Satan has control of the individual. It is self that has control of the individual. The Holy Spirit demonstrated its power on the day of Pentecost. Across this world and throughout time, it has continued demonstrating the power of God through man. It is time that we allow the Spirit of God to control the church once again. Man is powerless and limited to such power, but One came for you and I to rescue us from darkness. Man is powerless to overcome temptation, addiction, lust in all of its forms, and all other worldly bondages. The blood of Christ has washed us and cleansed us from all sin. The cross of Christ has demonstrated its power over darkness, and the Holy Spirit brings liberty and freedom to the soul. There is freedom through Jesus Christ. We must continue to remind ourselves that there is freedom through Jesus. One is free and free indeed. God bless you. Amen

According to his promise
"Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless" (2 Peter 3:13-14 KJV). There is a promise that awaits every believer. God has given us a promise, and He has written it in the Holy Bible, in hope that all humanity would come to know it. There is a Heaven that awaits you and I. A table has been prepared, where we may sit and eat with the King of Glory. The only way to get to Heaven is through God's Son, Jesus Christ. No one is exempt from this promise that God has for the world. He has made it clear time and time again that one must come to the cross, deny themselves, and repent of their old ways. Jesus speaks it to us. He said, "I Am the Way". In other words, He is the path that will lead us to eternal life. He is the Truth, for there is nothing other than the Truth in our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Life. Christ brings life to men, and in Him one will be found without spot or blemish. Jesus makes man whole, and man's entire being becomes one with Christ. The Lord's righteousness dwells in the inner man and brings life to man, which allows a separation of man from the world and the world from man. So, let's continue standing in Jesus Christ and proclaiming His name to all that are around us, so that they too may be found spotless and without blemish in the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen

The Lord is not slack
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 KJV). Do not take the delay of Christ for granted. He can come at anytime. He has promised us of His return, but He is still waiting for many to repent from their old ways. Let's not be ignorant of the Word of God, for He has promised. Though God delays, it does not mean He does not come through on His promises. That day will come as a thief in the night, when we all least expect it. The Lord has warned us all to get ready for His return. However, there are many people out there in the world that need Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There will be those who will scoff at the cross and the preaching of it. They are those that walk after their own ungodly desires and lusts. They are willfully ignorant, doing what they want to do, and trying to please the flesh with everything of this world. Our Lord is patient, wishing that all men would come to repentance. We must be aware that the devil is out with all of his arsenal in this late hour, and he wants to take the born-again believer into slavery. However, the only way he can get to us is if we compromise the Truth. Let us expect Christ's return shortly, and let's rejoice with the other brothers and sisters in the Lord. Meanwhile let us grab the harvest in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen

Increasing
"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:10 KJV). Jesus is the Head of all things, the One who has authority over every principality and darkness, and through Christ we can do all things. In this last hour, the church of today should reflect the church that Christ left behind with His disciples, the one we read about in the book of Acts. That reflection comes through the Holy Spirit living within you and I. The church is only as powerful as those who seek Christ in His fullness. We must get back to our First Love, Jesus Christ. Jesus has appointed the church to make disciples, to go into the furthest of regions, to proclaim His Truth, and to baptize people, allowing the Spirit of God to fill them. Don't think for a minute that the devil will leave you alone. He will come in as a storm, trying to deceive and delude you from the Message of Christ. The devil will make himself look glamorous, forge every kind of worship, and fill the pulpit with doctrines of demons. Satan is on the loose, and the born-again Christian is his first target to try to get rid of. Satan's out to stop the anointing of Christ from flowing through His vessels, and satan will go to the extreme to see the church watered down. The church should be a place where people come to be healed, delivered, filled, and made whole in the Lord. It is a place of a fresh renewal, where one can fall upon their knees and cry out for help. The church should be the hospital of today. God bless you. Amen

Looking to Jesus
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV). Sometimes it is easier to quit than it is to go on through the battle. Life begins to feel heavy and problems weigh down the heart, and at those times it seem useless to go on. The battle is not so much on the outside, but it's on the inside. The war usually starts in the heart. Maybe it was something someone said or what someone did, but the problem is in the heart. It is easier to point the finger at others than it is to allow God to point at our hearts. God is out to get our attention before the battle with our own flesh gets ahold of us in defeat. This is one thing satan would love to see, that is one defeated and telling themselves that it is useless and that they are no good. The devil will let us speak all the nonsense about ourselves and others. It does not hurt him, but it hurts us. Satan wants us to quit on Christ, to just give up and walk away. However, remember Jesus did not quit on you and I. He went to the cross, never looking back or desiring to quit. "For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds" (vs. 3) God bless you. Amen

I will come to you
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you"(John 14:18 KJV). No man is alone in this world when they serve Jesus Christ. Jesus has made it clear to everyone of us. He will not leave us nor for sake us. He is not out to abandon any one of us. Christ has come so that we may know Him and be filled with His presence daily. Jesus is the Living Word, Who was given unto us from God the Father. As partakers and believers of His Living Word, we are baptized with His presence, the Holy Spirit. One must repent of their sins, their old past life. In order to receive the promise from God, one must count the cost and be willing to deny themselves daily. Remember Jesus has stopped Satan in his tracks, but that doesn't mean that satan is exempt from us also. Satan will try everything he can to keep the born-again believer from believing and trusting in Christ. He will use the simplest things to turn our hearts away from our Lord. This is why Christ has given us the Holy Spirit, so that we may walk in victory each and every day. By doing so, we allow the Holy Spirit to rule our lives, every bit of it. This is the only way to overcome the devil and his temptations, that is to be controlled by Jesus Christ in spirit, soul, and body. Christ has given us the authority to walk upon this earth and to live as children of the Most High. God bless you. Amen

Let not sin
"Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof" (Romans 6:12 KJV). Arise in Jesus Christ, and do not allow the sin nature to reign in your life. The cross of Christ has power beyond human power, for through the cross Jesus has given us a way out from darkness and habitual sin. It is at the cross that man is set free from all of his schemes and the sin nature. However, one must get rid of self. This may sound crazy but it's true. The only way satan has authority over one's life is through the flesh, man's carnal nature. What does the light have to do with darkness or the non believer with the believer? Nothing! One can only want to live for Christ. He or she cannot be forced to. Many follow Jesus, but due to their own carnal nature, many went their own way. Some will go all the way with Christ and others won't. It is not easy, but it's worth every second. Paul said, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20 KJV). Paul was not living for self, but he was living for our Lord Jesus Christ. He had no claim to this world or anything that could chain him down. He lived in victory over His flesh. God bless you. Amen
