Let not sin

"Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof" (‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ KJV). Arise in Jesus Christ, and do not allow the sin nature to reign in your life. The cross of Christ has power beyond human power, for through the cross Jesus has given us a way out from darkness and habitual sin. It is at the cross that man is set free from all of his schemes and the sin nature. However, one must get rid of self. This may sound crazy but it's true. The only way satan has authority over one's life is through the flesh, man's carnal nature. What does the light have to do with darkness or the non believer with the believer? Nothing! One can only want to live for Christ. He or she cannot be forced to. Many follow Jesus, but due to their own carnal nature, many went their own way. Some will go all the way with Christ and others won't. It is not easy, but it's worth every second. Paul said, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ KJV). Paul was not living for self, but he was living for our Lord Jesus Christ. He had no claim to this world or anything that could chain him down. He lived in victory over His flesh. God bless you. Amen
