The word of their testimony

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death"(‭Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ KJV). Through the blood of Jesus we are more than conquerors. We are free! Christ has made a way, and through His way He brings us freedom from all this world and everything of it. There was a time when I was bound up by drugs, alcohol, perversion, and all kinds of other darkness, and I assumed that I was free. It seemed like as long as I was having a good time everything would be okay. One thing I didn't know was all along there was a prince of darkness behind all the "good times". He had his hand in there all the time, with all the drugs and alcohol I was involved with. I didn't know that such things could wrap a man so deeply into himself. It took more than a crowbar to get me apart from it. Then, a time came when I just could never get ahead. It seemed like everything began to fall apart in my life. It began to crumble right before me. The devil will always have his way, as long as this world has our heart. Unfortunately, there are many people that will never be set free. However, I thank God that I am free through His blood, which washes me. We all have a testimony to proclaim to a dark and lawless world. Gird up your loins, be steadfast in the work of our Christ Jesus, and allow His Spirit to saturate you. You are also a living testimony for Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen
