Pulling down strong holds

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV). The battle starts from within the mind and the heart of man, and it begins with thoughts and imaginations. Most of the time we make our own battles. We are good at making things bigger than they really are, and by doing so it roars up a battle within us. There are many people out there that are fighting the spiritual battle because they allowed their imagination to flirt with certain ungodly thoughts. Now they are powerless, and they have no strength to defeat the enemy in this battle. This is very common among the believers, not only today but even during the times when the Bible was being written. Satan doesn't have to come around and throw temptations in front of us in order for us to sin. Our thoughts and imaginations can lead us away from the Lord and cause us to sin without the enemy having to tempt us. Be wise! This is the beginning of a fall. The only one who is able to pick us back up is our Lord Jesus Christ, who cares for us, loves us, and forgives us of our sins. Bring all thoughts into the obedience of Jesus Christ, and you will stay clear from the traps of the enemy. God bless you. Amen

He began to purge.

"For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images" (2 Chronicles 34:3 KJV). King Josiah was a young boy, eight years old, when he began to reign over Judea. Even so, he turned the city of Jerusalem and the land upside down for our Lord. He was tired of seeing his family, his loved ones, and the Lord's children bound by evil. This young boy, at the age of 16 years old, began to seek the Lord with his whole heart. When he did so, the Lord convicted him about all the evil, the idols, the goddesses, and the gods that had been brought into the nation. From that time on, he began to purge the idols from the high places. He took down and destroyed every pagan altar and the priests that sacrificed at the altars. Just as his great grandfather Hezekiah had done, Josiah did an even greater work. There might be idols in our lives that tend to keep us back from reaching the promises of God. This young king saw what these idols could do to a nation from the inside out and what it did to his dad and to his grandfather. He saw how the enemy came in, deceived, manipulated, and murdered his family and consumed a nation. Today there are many bound by idols, and it isn't just the adults but young children also. All across the land, we see idols. These idols could be sports, movies, music, video games, sexual perversion, pornography, drugs, or alcohol, just to mention a few, but all are forms of idols. When things are put first before God in our lives, it becomes an idol and it will only bring self destruction. We must get rid of these idols before we find ourselves deep in bondage and hunted by the devil. God bless you. Amen

Hear the Word of The Lord

"Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, 'Hear the word of the Lord : Behold, the days are coming, when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up till this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left, says the Lord'" (2 Kings 20:16, 17 ESV). King Hezekiah was a great king. He was a powerful king who did right in the sight of the Lord. He took down all the idols from around Judea and destroyed them. He restored the land and opened the doors of the house of God that had been shut for a very long time. He cleansed the temple and prepared it for worship. He made a covenant with the Lord and brought the fire back to the altar. The musicians were brought back to praise and worship the Lord. The Lord anointed King Hezekiah greatly, for he was a man willing to do the Lord's will. The Lord gives us the answer to a successful life through the life of King Hezekiah. He did everything he had to do to keep the enemy from having rule over his kingdom. He destroyed everything that grieved the Lord's heart, and he restored worship to the Temple of God. He set watchmen on the wall to keep guard and to warn the people when the enemy was coming near. However, at the end of his reign, he fell into the grip of pride. He opened the door to the enemy, the kingdom of Babylon. He allowed Babylon to go into the walls of his domain and to see all the silver, gold, spices, and precious ointments, his treasure. Instead of giving God all the glory and mentioning how precious the Lord is, he kept quiet. Sometimes we tend to take all the credit for the work that the Lord has done. Be watchful to whom or to what you open the door of your heart to. God bless you. Amen

Bitterness of soul

"And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore" (1 Samuel 1:10 KJV). Hannah knew without a doubt that the Lord would bless her with a man child. She did not stay where she was being provoked or hindered by those who surrounded her, but she ran and wept in the courts of God. Hannah wanted a son so bad. She wasn't about to let anything stop her. The bitterness arose within her greatly. Hurt and jealousy began to arouse her emotions uncontrollably, and she began to seek the Lord with great anguish. When our souls hurt for something so bad, it isn't the time to look for it in the world, but the time to cry out to the Lord our God. She fasted and prayed, then her wants and desires turned to anguish and sorrow. Anguish took over her heart. She was not about to leave the presence of the Lord without an answer or a touch from God. Church, this is the point we need to get to. We must desire more of Christ Jesus, not just for ourselves but for our loved ones to be set free. We need to cry out with deep sorrow and anguish and listen to the chains break off from them. Let us not lose hope in our prayers. It took nine months before Samuel was born, and it might take nine months before our prayers are answered. God bless you. Amen

In the air.

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words" (1 Thessalonians 4:17, 18 KJV). How beautiful that day is going to be when the Lord raptures up His bride into the air to be with Him on a cloud of glory. However, it will be a gloomy and dark day for those who do not believe in Christ Jesus. Those who are lost in their sin and ungodliness, with no will or heart to change, will remain on this old earth, hoping they would have listened to the Word of God. We, as believers, have our names written in The Lamb's Book of Life, and it is our guarantee that we will be taken in the twinkling of an eye, when the angel sounds the trumpet. What about those who are lost out there in the world this very day? What about those who have a need for Jesus but have no one to show them, guide them, or love them. We can't keep this good news in the walls of the church. We must tell those out there in the streets that the Lord our Savior, the Bridegroom Christ Jesus, is coming back for His bride, the Church. Many are in need, and it is the Church's job to help. God bless you. Amen

A great voice

"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God" (Revelation 21:3 KJV). The kingdom of God awaits us with open arms, love, joy, and rejoicing. It is the final place and destiny, the place where all believers will abide forever. The glory of God fills this place. It is holy, pure, and filled with God's goodness and grace. There will be no more pain, and there will be no more hurt. There will be no more tears from our eyes, and there shall be no more death or crying, for these things have passed away. The Lord has given us a free invitation to come into such a great and awesome place. We all have a Kingdom that awaits us, and we have the love and beauty of it to look forward to. The Lord has prepared this New Jerusalem, a city with high walls and12 gates, with an angel at each one. The gates will be open all day, for there is no night in the new city. There is no need for the sun anymore, for the glory of God will lighten it up. The Lamb is the Light thereof. Rejoice and encourage one another, for our God is bringing us to a greater place. God bless you. Amen

My Salvation

"Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation" (Psalms 62:1 KJV). The Lord Jesus was faced with many trials and sufferings, and He endured them by keeping His eyes upon the Father in Heaven. He was tempted in every way man could be tempted, tried, or persecuted, but He never lost focus on the purpose of why He was here. He saw the need, the need of the children of this earth, who were living a life chained by the darkness, confused, lost, sick, weak, and tired. They were looking for peace and safety, but they knew no other way except what was shown to them by the world. We too are very powerless in helping our own needs be met. The days we live in are no different than the days before Jesus ministered on this earth. We are weak, sick, broken, and in need of Christ Jesus our Savior. The Lord shows us very clearly that if we trust and abide in Him we will make it through these trials that face us, and we will stand firm and unshakable with Him. Just as Jesus Christ carried His cross, we too must carry our cross and look up to the Father, who brings encouragement in the time of trials and temptations. God bless you. Amen

Inspiration of God

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV). The Word of God is powerful, and it cuts into the very depths of our hearts. What can we expect? The Word was breathed by God, who created the Heavens and the earth. Of course it's going to penetrate our very beings! This Word is Christ Himself, moving and living. It comes alive when one begins to trust and have faith in it. It convicts us of our sins and errors. The Word brings us into a life that's lived pleasing unto God in holiness, purity, immovable, unshaken, and ever standing for Jesus Christ. This Holy Word is all we have from the mouth of God, and He speaks with power through all the scriptures, bringing hope to every life. He teaches us all about life and everything that we need to know. Without the Word, we would have no instruction in right living or correction in our lives. It would be crazy. It is the Word of God that changes people from ungodly to godly and from unholy to holy. The Word speaks to the heart and mind of man. Those who trust and abide in the Word of the Lord will have everlasting life and a life here on earth that will speak to others around them. The Word of the Lord has been here since the creation of man, and it will be here forever. It will remain the same. It never changes. If we continue our walk in the Word, we will finish a life perfected under the will of God. "That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" (vs. 17). What a great promise the Lord has given to those who trust and rely on the Word. God bless you. Amen

Let my cry come near.

"Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord : give me understanding according to thy word. Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word" (Psalms 119:169, 170 KJV). When we are facing problems and it seems so dark around us, the Lord is waiting to hear the voices of His children. This is not the time to give the problem the victory over our lives. It is not the time to sit there in the darkness, doubting what God can do. The Lord will always test us and try us with trials that face us and hit us where it hurts the most. Just like the old saying says, "It has to go through God before it can come to us". God is not out to hurt us, but to teach us and love us. It may sound foolish, but these issues that surround us are to help us grow and mature into more faithful and strong believers. The issues are there to get us to trust Him more. We are faced with problems. This is the time to gather your household and begin to praise the Lord, singing songs and hymns. Throughout the Bible, the men and women of God prayed and sang unto the Lord, and God heard their singing and praying. He did not ignore them, but He came down to the very place they were and relieved them from their stresses and anxieties. He gave them a stronger faith and a greater blessing. Don't get burned out by the problems, but burn out the problems with praises unto the Lord. God bless you. Amen

Into prison

"And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to keep them safely. Having received this order, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks" (Acts 16:23, 24 ESV). Paul and Silas did not let their circumstances get in the way of praying to the Lord. They were beaten by the crowd of people, who also whipped them with rods. Then they were taken to the bottom of the prison into the dungeon, where they were shackled to the floor with other prisoners. All this happened because they preached the Word of the Lord, came against darkness, and cast out an evil spirit that had a girl possessed. These were loyal men to the Gospel of Christ. These were men that would not let anything interfere with their walk with Jesus. The enemy will always try to discourage us and oppress us with issues that surround us. He will try to make these issues look bigger to the natural eye than they really are. Nothing is impossible or too big for those who stand in faithfulness, looking toward the Lord Jesus Christ. I could imagine Paul and Silas being in a dungeon filled with darkness, as the odor of death and sewage filled the air. Yet, that did nothing to stop them from praising the Lord and exalting Him. Don't let the enemy stop you from praying and praising the Lord. Hit the devil right where it hurts the most by getting on your knees and giving God the glory. God bless you. Amen

I seek The Lord

"In the day of my trouble I seek (inquire of and desperately require) the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out [in prayer] without slacking up; I refuse to be comforted" (Psalm 77:2 AMP). Our Lord is forever faithful. He will always show up right on time. He is always willing to be among us as we seek Him. He is near to those who call out to Him. He loves to be in the presence of those who seek His face. The place that every believer longs to be is right at His feet pouring out our hearts. We cannot let problems and issues keep us from getting to the feet of Jesus. When distractions fill our hearts and discouragement wants to take over our minds, we must place ourselves at His feet. We must allow the Lord Jesus to place His warm hand upon our shoulders. When nothing feels right and the family is in chaos, the battle begins and seems like it's never going to stop. During these times, the Lord is trying to get our attention. He is letting us know that we don't need to go through this alone. Don't try to fix the problem that can only be fixed by the Lord. Run to Him today, and allow Him to do what He has come to do, that is to pour out His love, mercy, and grace upon all who seek Him. God bless you. Amen

Thy words were heard.

"Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words" (Daniel 10:12 KJV). When we begin to pray, things begin to happen out of the ordinary. Our heavenly Father begins to move things that need to be moved in the supernatural, the atmosphere of the heavens. Then He begins to move upon the earth. At the same time, there is an adversary who recognizes what God is doing and comes to try to interfere with the prayer of God's children. Daniel prayed and prayed, but he did not see his prayer answered immediately because there was a war going on in the heavenly realm over his petition, over his prayer. How powerful is that! The enemy ever so wants to stop our prayers from reaching the throne room of God, and he'll even attack the individual who cries out day and night in the name of Jesus. The attack does not come directly to the individual. It's an attack in the atmosphere that surrounds the individual. The enemy will use people more than anything to obstruct, disrupt, frustrate, and simply discourage the praying individual. This is when we all recognize the attack, but many leave the altar of God feeling disappointed, alone, and hurt. This is not the time to give up, but the time to cry out even more. Wait for your break through. It's about to come. The heaver the battle, the greater the blessings. Daniel never gave up. He continued until he got his break through. God bless you all. Amen

I will not leave you.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" (John 14:18 KJV). There are some days where we need the comforter more than other days. There are those days that our hearts and minds are flooded with discouragement, the days that seem like nothing ever goes right and everything falls apart. These are the days we cannot understand, but remember we have a friend in Jesus who does understand. It may not look too good through our eyes, but that is why the Lord gave us a Helper, who will never leave us helpless. He will always be there with us, even when the enemy tries to come in. At the point of trial, the thief is ever so abounding closer to the believer, for he knows we are vulnerable and weak. This is not a time to open our hearts up to the world, but a time to be very watchful. During these seasons, we ought to close that door behind us, get on our knees in the secret place, and allow the Great Comforter to come in, abide with us forever, and wrap us in His arms. The Holy Spirit is here to help us, guide us, and protect us in these days of discouragement. God bless you. Amen

Troubled

"I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long" (Psalms 38:6 KJV). Sometimes we get attacked and don't understand why, or maybe we opened the door of our heart to the enemy. Just like every believer in their walk, we will be discouraged and shaken by the enemy. Sometimes it feels as if noone is around and we're all alone, empty and by ourselves. Times like this can be tough to go through. The storms never seem to stop. They only get bigger. The good thing about this is God the Father is right there in front of us waiting for us to cry out for help. He wants us to pour out our hearts into His hands and not to stop until it is all done, until every last tear has been cried out. King David knew that the Lord was close by, but with guilt upon his heart, he was as far from the Lord as we are when we all sin. "Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee" (vs.9). The Lord waits to see what we are going to do when such a battle comes against us. Are we just going to let our hearts get beat up by discouragement? Or are we running to the altar of God? He sees and hears our groanings. There's no where to hide. He gives us the Comforter for this reason. God bless you. Amen

For we cannot but speak.

"For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard" (Acts 4:20 KJV). Peter and John knew the power of the Lord and the miracles that Jesus did when He was upon this earth. They were about to see plenty more miracles in their life time, for they were filled with the Holy Spirit. As they walked to the temple at the hour of prayer, the Lord did a miracle. A man who was lame for 40 years caught their attention by begging for money, but the men of God spoke the name of Jesus, reached out for his hand, and he was healed and strengthened. He stood up walking and came into the temple praising God. When all the people saw, they began to praise the Lord. However, the priests and the Sadducees became grieved because these men stood under the power of the Holy Spirit proclaiming and preaching the name of Jesus, whom they crucified. The name of Jesus is an offense to the non-believer. They can't understand such great love. The first church was filled with the Holy Spirit, the presence of God. There was nothing that could stop this church from growing, not even the threats of man. The world today is looking for miracles, but miracles only happen to those who know and seek the Lord. Just as the apostles knew the Lord, we too must know Him in order to see God do the supernatural. The apostles had been with Jesus, and if we have been with Him also, anything can happen. God bless you. Amen

His love upon me.

"Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name" (Psalms 91:14 KJV). God has always been faithful, and He will never take back what He's spoken. The Lord continually reminds us how merciful and faithful He is to all those who seek Him and love Him. Great promises await the child who loves the Lord with all their heart. God is always there to protect them. He will never leave them nor forsake them. He will shadow them under His wings and protect them from the enemy. God is faithful. No one is exempt from our precious Lord. For His mercies are everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him. He is always near, and He can hear your cry in time of need. God is never too far. He is as close as your next breath. Continue to stand with your arms open in deep worship, and the Lord Jesus will draw Himself close to you. It's going to be worth it all. Every ounce of strength, every suffering, and every bit of persecution is going to be worth it when we stand in His glory. So don't give up. No, don't give up! He's faithful to His Word and loyal to His covenant. Desire Him more. Fall on your knees and praise and worship the Lord. God bless you. Amen

My foot hath held his steps.

"My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food" (Job 23:11, 12 KJV). Job lost everything he ever had, his family, his home, and all his cattle. However, after all that Job went through, he still did not renounce God. Job looked for the Lord, just like many of us believers do. There are times when it seems that God has hidden Himself from us. We cannot perceive Him, but just like Job, we have to continue to maintain a rightful direction. God is not out to hurt us, but to love us and to show us His great and mighty way. The Lord has come to teach us to be righteous and holy and to protect us from the enemy, the evil one. The Lord is loyal to His word, and he will never allow harm to come upon His children that love Him. There will come a time when our faith is going to be deliberately tested by God. We might not be certain as to what the Lord is doing, but we must know that whatever it is we will come forth as gold, purified through the fire. Job loved the Lord with all of his heart, soul, and mind. He was not going to let the enemy get the victory over his life. Job did lose everything, but he feared the Lord, and was not about to renounce God, even in such pain and misery. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction" (Proverbs 1:7). Job knew God had an eternal plan, and he had no doubt that the Lord was somewhere in the midst of all his troubles. Fear must be mingled with confidence as we go down this road of life. There is a blessing waiting for you and I. God bless you. Amen

In the beginning

"And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail" (Hebrews 1:10-12). Christ Jesus never changes. His character will always be the same. He is changeless. Our Lord is persistent in all that He does. He never fails. He is persistent in His grace, and He is hoping to see all people saved. He shows love and patience towards men and women in order to save them. He realizes that the heart is evil, but He is persistent to reach everyone. He never gives up. God never changes. We are the ones that change, and we are not as persistent as we wish to be. We start things, but we do not find the time to finish or we lose interest. We wish the best for all our loved ones, but many times we are helpless to help them when they're in need. God made seasons that have existed ever since He made them. He has been faithful to His Word ever since He spoke it. Our Lord will always love those who stand against Him, speak bad about Him, or walk away from Him. He remains the same, and is persistent to His Word. Let us hold fast to the Lord's character, for it will never fail nor wax old as a garment, but it remains forever and ever. God bless you. Amen

The Lord is not slack.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 KJV). Some people don't believe the Lord is coming back any time soon, and many just don't believe in Jesus Christ at all. However, the Lord will always keep His promises. His faith is never moved. He continues to intercede for us all day and night. He is not willing to see any of us perish. He stands in the gap for His children and protects them from the enemy. Nothing can move us when we stand in faith, looking for the Lord to return for His bride. When one has made up their mind to follow Jesus, they will stand up after every fall and always pray to the Lord, who loves them dearly. God is not willing to see any of us perish or be overcome by the wickedness of this last hour. He has given us everything we need to stay out of the traps and in His mighty light. We have been washed by the blood of Jesus, which has cleansed us from every sin, and He gave us His Holy Spirit that He may walk with us every moment of the day. This is the final hour, and it is time to repent from everything hidden in our hearts, making it right with our Lord. Jesus is waiting for all to come to repentance, to run from the past, and to get out of that besetting sin. He is waiting with open arms. Don't let anything stop you from the Word of God, but let the Word guide your very steps. God bless you. Amen

Ye that love The Lord.

"Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked" (Psalms 97:10 KJV). The Lord Jesus Christ is going to protect us until He takes us home. Look unto the promises of the Lord our God. We must call upon Him in our time of need. He will hear us, find us, protect us, and deliver us. The world is not going to change. It is only growing worse as darkness gets darker. We, the children of God, should continually look for His return and look forward for the new Heaven and Earth. We ought to be devoting our lives and time to Christ Jesus, and we should be standing on the promises of God. Life isn't about worldly prosperity or how much materialism we can get our hands on. It is about love. Christianity is about loving Christ with our whole hearts and going all the way with Jesus. If we only love God with 99.5% of our hearts, we better be watchful because the other .5% can easily deceive and lead us astray. It is not time to become part of the world nor time to trust in it. For this world, along with the universe, will dissolve and melt with fire. Those found in Christ shall be preserved. "The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy" (Psalms 145:20). God bless you. Amen

Call upon Him in truth.

"The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth". (Psalms 145:18 KJV). Don't take your eyes off of Jesus, but keep ever so near to Him. In these last days we, the believers, cannot afford to take a chance by looking at something else other than the Cross of Calvary. There's so much distraction, temptation, and ungodliness out there in this world that can so easily distract us. The enemy is showing himself so real to a generation who does not discern how he has come to steal, kill, and destroy. He takes their innocence, purity, and minds by filling them with ungodly thoughts and wicked imaginations like no other time. This wickedness is in front of us, and it surrounds us. It is being taught to our children. It is shown to them frequently through the Internet, television, and the music they hear. The only one that can bring us victory through this last hour is our Lord Jesus Christ. Through His precious blood, we are washed clean from all sin. Through the Cross of Calvary, the enemy is defeated. Christ Jesus is our only chance in this last hour. It is time to pray, and not time to play. We are losing this generation to the ungodliness that man allowed to run freely across this world. It's up to us. It's up to the Church in the name of Jesus. God bless you. Amen

As a thief in the night.

"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?" (2 Peter 3:10-12 KJV) Who do we rely on? Do we rely on the very Word of God or the government of our nation? Nothing is going to last here on the earth. It will all melt away. Everything we labored for and all that we attached our lives to will dissolve. The government may be shut down, but the Lord never shuts down. His door is always open to those who seek Him. Times may look unsure and things around us may not be as they once were, but our God never changes. He always remains the same. The Lord will run and help those who trust Him at all times. When the enemy charges in, the Holy Lord will not only protect us but also make a way of escape. He isn't about to let the devil take His children. When the prophets of old heard and saw the enemy coming to harm God's children, they would warn them with a word from God. God would give a warning to the people before harm came in. Today, God is speaking to the church. He says, "Be on your guard"! Anything can happen at any time. We live in uncertain days, where nothing is guaranteed to us except Jesus Christ. People have put their trust in the government, only to find out it will all come to an end. Nothing lasts forever. Keep your head up, and walk in the Lord because we look for His promise, the new heavens and a new earth to dwell on. God bless you. Amen

Devote yourself

"Till I come, devote yourself to [public and private] reading, to exhortation (preaching and personal appeals), and to teaching and instilling doctrine". (1 Timothy 4:13 AMP). The apostle Paul wrote to young Timothy and told him not to worry about what others think about his age, but rather to be an example to all other believers and to be committed to the Word of God. Devote yourself to the truth by faith in Jesus Christ, in purity and in love through the Holy Spirit. God not only called Timothy and Paul, but He also called us to live as an example to those who surround us. Walk in the integrity of Christ Jesus. Don't walk away from it. Live a life desiring the gifts of the Spirit, and allow them to move through you. Paul was letting young Timothy know that the only way one can be a great example is by following Jesus Christ, and Him only, in faith. Hard times will come, but be a doer of the Word of God. Stand in the truth, and do not allow the world to come into your heart. By doing so, you will make it in this world. Crave the Word of God. Check your heart to see if you're walking in it, holding to the truth, and not being left behind. Walk with your eyes on Christ, and you will not stumble. God bless you. Amen

The Spirit wait.

"For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith" (Galatians 5:5 KJV). Nothing can stop the Holy Spirit when one comes into His presence with faith. He begins to remove the walls that keep us back from His glory. He allows everyone to freely rejoice in His presence. His love pours out upon those who seek Him and desire to be near Him. He will show Himself real and powerful to a body of believers who are willing to pray, fast, and worship with all their hearts. The Lord desires and looks forward to those who open up and put out their hearts so that God can touch them and have communion with them. God will not only bless them, but He will open up the Heavens and show them great and mighty things. Healing, deliverance, and freedom will shine upon the hearts that hunger and allow the Holy Spirit to do what He does best, bring liberation. The secret place, where God is found, builds up God's children who are weak and weary and in need of strength and hope. There is no better place than the one behind a locked door, on your face, and crying out "Abba Father". Nothing can stop the hunger the Holy Spirit brings to a born again child of God. God bless you. Amen

A Whole Heart.

“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever" (1 Chronicles 28:9 ESV). King David told his son, Solomon, to serve God will a whole heart and with a willing mind. King David knew what it took to serve the Lord, and how the mind can be your worst enemy. Our minds can hold us back from receiving the blessings from God, and it can keep a person back from the real truth. It is the mind that does the thinking and makes the plans for our lives. It is powerful. Jesus said out of the heart comes evil. "And He said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man" (Mark 7:20-23 KJV). Our hearts can also bring peace and joy to the hearts of many. It can also hurt others or bring blessings or curses. Only God can search it out. God understands our plans and thoughts, whether they are good or bad, for nothing is hidden from Him. A father speaks to his son and warns him to serve the Lord fully, to be acquainted with, and to understand Him. He encourages him to serve Him with a blameless heart and to have a personal relationship with Him. If you seek Him first, you will be found by Him, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you, casting you off forever. It is the heart that bring us closer to God or separates us from our blessing with the Lord. God bless you. Amen

You Have Armed Me

"For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose against me" (II Samuel 22:40 NKJV). David overcame his enemy by trusting in Christ. He walked after the Spirit because his eyes were only on Christ. Holy Spirit, teach us! Teach us to be strong. Teach us to stand in Christ Jesus’ everlasting love, and give us a desire to not be moved. When the enemy surrounds us, we run to you, Oh Lord. When the enemy comes into our minds and begins to deceive and tempt us, Father, you are the only one we can run to and find shelter in at all times. God never changes, but we do. It seems like so many things change with time. Along with this changing of time, we can easily lose the fire and passion we once had for Jesus Christ. The love that we once searched for and desired so much for has now diminished. It gets to a point where we can get so comfortable where we are that we are without a fight. The desire to fight on our knees for our loved ones and to hide in that secret place has been choked out and pushed away. The love has waxed cold. If we have recognized that we've stepped back from the front lines, from the place where God the Father has put us, let it be a red flag to ourselves that we must get back to the front lines with Jesus Christ. It will be a battle to get back to Him, but don't give up. God the Father can only protect and strengthen those who follow Him with a willing heart. God bless you. Amen

The Cloud of The Lord

"For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys". (Exodus 40:38 KJV). God showed His glory so many times to the children of Israel as they moved through the wilderness. His presence filled the tabernacle, as He made it very clear that He was with them. What a sight that must have been to see fire among the tabernacle at night. Our Lord made it clear to the children of Israel that He was going to lead them through the wilderness, and all they had to do was follow. He brought them out of Egypt, and He knew they could not possibly survive the wilderness alone. He did not leave them to die in a desert with thirst and hunger. He stayed with them. He provided for their every need, and made sure that they had everything they could possibly need for this journey to the promise land. He was their shield and protector against the enemy, not allowing sickness to slow down their journey. As we walk in this wilderness today, the Lord has not changed. We are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, and He will shine His glory upon those who seek Him. He guides us, teaches us, and protects us from all that surrounds us. He will always make a way for those who have faith in Him. Let the glory of God guide you today. Let Him occupy your heart. The children of Israel didn't move until the cloud moved. Where is the cloud? God bless you. Amen

His time is short.

"Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” (Revelation 12:12 ESV). Evil fills the land, and this young generation is flocking towards it. It has blinded so many people with doubt and unbelief towards the Truth. Evil is leaving many bound and addicted by drugs and sexual perversions. What can we expect? The world we live in sells darkness. It promotes perversions and allows everyone to do as they please. Compromise has opened the door to the prince of the air to take control and rule over cities, towns, streets, and homes. As a result, immorality is practiced and wickedness runs freely, with its' demon spirits manifesting themselves through people who give themselves to such darkness. It is only going to grow worse by the hour. It's now up to the children of God to rise up against this darkness with prayer and fasting. The church must get together in one spirit, standing in one accord to defeat such opposition. We are in the final hour, and satan knows his time is short and at an end. So, he is doing all he can to deceive and lead astray as many adults and children that he can. He's out to steal, kill, and destroy anyone that falls for his traps. His traps are attractive and glamorous, while waiting for its' next victim. It's not to late! Pray to the Lord for the anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit to move upon you and your household and to protect those in need. God bless you. Amen

Every kind

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". (Matthew 13:47-50 KJV). Are we really ready for the harvest? It is ready to come in. We cannot let our eyes be fooled by this harvest. It comes with stains of corruption. It comes hurt and brokenness. It will appear downcast and without hope or joy. It has come out of the world. It has been blinded by darkness, and it knows nothing other than darkness. This harvest has been put aside and ignored for so long that it has been led away from the truth, and it does not know the truth. It has been entangled with demon spirits. It knows nothing else except for lies and confusion. Evil spirits have grabbed it, lied to it, confused it, and brought addictions upon it. This is the harvest, people of all kinds that are hurting for help and in need. We cannot ignore those outside of the church walls anymore. They are the harvest. The harvest is those who walk broken, carrying chains of drug addiction, chains of abuse, chains of molestation, and chains of sexual addiction. They carry chains that will not break without the Holy Spirit. The harvest is not going to be pretty for it has been out in the field for a long time. It's been deceived and deluded by the evil one. It's time for us to go get the harvest. It is ready. God bless you. Amen

Accepted

"To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace"(Ephesians 1:6, 7 KJV). We are no longer strangers to the kingdom of God. Our Lord Jesus has opened the way for you and I to grab ahold of the altar of the Lord our God. Calvary pulled down all the strongholds. It broke every chain of darkness, and it put the devil under His feet. When we were bound, beat up, and addicted to just about everything the world could possibly throw at us, the Lord did not look away from us. He did not walk away from us. He stood up and said, "I will do it". "I will go shed my blood as a covenant for these children who are lost in this world". He has never been ashamed of us. He has never been upset with us either. His love covers a multitude of sin. If you're feeling a little under the weather, as if He's counting your mistakes and writing them down, let me tell you, He does not count our sins. He waits with His arms open wide and His ears towards you and I. He is wanting to hear us. He is wanting to love us. Our God is faithful. He is so faithful that He is up in heaven making intercession for you and I day and night. Our Lord Jesus has never quit on us. Let's not quit on Him, after everything He has done and still does for us to this very day. Give God praise. God bless you. Amen

Made nigh by the blood of Christ

"But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ". (Ephesians 2:13 KJV). The blood of Jesus has cleansed us from the sin that once had us bound and made us outcasts. When we were far away from God's sweet presence,God the Father sent His Only Begotten Son to die for everyone of us, to redeem us from the curse of the world. Everyone of us were corrupted in our own ways. We were once under the rule of the power of the air and the spirits of disobedience. We were once living a life filled with the lusts of our flesh, evil cravings, and thoughts of perversion. Many were so dark, blinded by the darkness, and trapped in a world of unforgiveness, guilt, and shame. We were all spiritually dead. We could not, by any means help ourselves get out of the sin debt we were in. However, Christ Jesus, by His death and resurrection, brought forth grace, and by that grace we are saved. Remember, we were once far away from the Lord. Now, we are brought near to God the Father and are covered with the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed at Calvary. What we could not achieve or bring ourselves out of Jesus, the Son of God, did it for you and I. God bless you. Amen
