In the beginning

"And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail" (Hebrews 1:10-12). Christ Jesus never changes. His character will always be the same. He is changeless. Our Lord is persistent in all that He does. He never fails. He is persistent in His grace, and He is hoping to see all people saved. He shows love and patience towards men and women in order to save them. He realizes that the heart is evil, but He is persistent to reach everyone. He never gives up. God never changes. We are the ones that change, and we are not as persistent as we wish to be. We start things, but we do not find the time to finish or we lose interest. We wish the best for all our loved ones, but many times we are helpless to help them when they're in need. God made seasons that have existed ever since He made them. He has been faithful to His Word ever since He spoke it. Our Lord will always love those who stand against Him, speak bad about Him, or walk away from Him. He remains the same, and is persistent to His Word. Let us hold fast to the Lord's character, for it will never fail nor wax old as a garment, but it remains forever and ever. God bless you. Amen
