Made nigh by the blood of Christ

"But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ". (Ephesians 2:13 KJV). The blood of Jesus has cleansed us from the sin that once had us bound and made us outcasts. When we were far away from God's sweet presence,God the Father sent His Only Begotten Son to die for everyone of us, to redeem us from the curse of the world. Everyone of us were corrupted in our own ways. We were once under the rule of the power of the air and the spirits of disobedience. We were once living a life filled with the lusts of our flesh, evil cravings, and thoughts of perversion. Many were so dark, blinded by the darkness, and trapped in a world of unforgiveness, guilt, and shame. We were all spiritually dead. We could not, by any means help ourselves get out of the sin debt we were in. However, Christ Jesus, by His death and resurrection, brought forth grace, and by that grace we are saved. Remember, we were once far away from the Lord. Now, we are brought near to God the Father and are covered with the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed at Calvary. What we could not achieve or bring ourselves out of Jesus, the Son of God, did it for you and I. God bless you. Amen
