I will not leave you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" (John 14:18 KJV). There are some days where we need the comforter more than other days. There are those days that our hearts and minds are flooded with discouragement, the days that seem like nothing ever goes right and everything falls apart. These are the days we cannot understand, but remember we have a friend in Jesus who does understand. It may not look too good through our eyes, but that is why the Lord gave us a Helper, who will never leave us helpless. He will always be there with us, even when the enemy tries to come in. At the point of trial, the thief is ever so abounding closer to the believer, for he knows we are vulnerable and weak. This is not a time to open our hearts up to the world, but a time to be very watchful. During these seasons, we ought to close that door behind us, get on our knees in the secret place, and allow the Great Comforter to come in, abide with us forever, and wrap us in His arms. The Holy Spirit is here to help us, guide us, and protect us in these days of discouragement. God bless you. Amen
