Fishers of men

"And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" (‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ KJV). The Lord is waiting for the disciples of the church to arise, gird up their loins, and to go into the highways and byways proclaiming the Gospel. There is a harvest that awaits us, multitudes that are young and old, who thirst and hunger for the Truth. Jesus spoke to Peter and Andrew and said, "follow me". In other words, Jesus was saying He'd show them how to fish for men and bring them to the Door of Salvation. The same call is upon every believer who desires to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He has called us to the Great Commission, that is to go out and proclaim the Gospel, the Good News, unto the world. There is a country whose ponds and lakes are filled with fish, fish that have not been given the message of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. America, we are in desperate need for evangelism upon our streets and highways. Times are changing and changing fast. Many politicians have compromised and have allowed the United States to be swallowed up by greed, immorality, drugs, pornography, and darkness. It is time to go fishing. The time has come for the disciples to arise out of the church and go minister to those who are lost in our nation. Our cities and countries are filled with souls who have known Christ, but have backslidden. There is still a chance in this late hour to evangelize our countries, cities, and nations.
