To obey is better than sacrifice.

"So Samuel said: 'Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams'" (I Samuel 15:22 NKJV). It was a sad day for Saul, when he ignored the commandment of Samuel that came from the Lord. The prophet of God told Saul to destroy all the Amalekites, the enemy, not to spare them but to kill both man, woman, infant, suckling, ox, sheep, camel, and donkey. He was commanded to kill it all, to destroy them. God asked Saul a simple thing, to get rid of the enemy and to annihilate them all. However, Saul saved Agag, king of the Amalekites, and destroyed the rest of the people with the sword. Saul also spared the best of the sheep, oxen, the fatlings, lambs, and all that was good. He did not utterly destroy them. What do we still have in our lives that Christ has convicted us about? What has He commanded us to get out-of-the-way, to destroy, or to cast out forever? Is there still something that we are hiding or holding back from destroying? Old habits, thoughts, or unforgiveness could be something that needs to be utterly destroyed. Not destroying them, only gives the enemy ground to destroy us. To obey is better than sacrifice. Ask the Lord for grace to help us overcome in the name of Jesus. God bless you all.

He gives more Grace.

"But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: 'God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.' Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:6, 7 NKJV). Scripture says, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you". That sounds easy, but it's not so easy in the days that we live in. Temptation floods just about everything. Man looks to everything from the television to the music on the radio and all the way to the Internet on the computer. The devil doesn't care. He'll flood everything with temptation. The devil will flood everything that could possibly turn your eyes away from Jesus Christ. How do we overcome temptation? Well, scripture says, "Submit to God." We must submit all we are to our God and obey His ways. We resist the devil by obeying God. When the devil sees that you have submitted to God, he will come after you with all that he can, try to tempt you, and hinder you, but the grace God has given to us through his Holy Spirit is stronger than any temptation. Grace will keep you in the arms of God, our Savior. We cannot overcome temptation without God. The humble receive the gift of grace, but God resists the prideful. There is no room for rebellion. There is no room for pride or disobedience. We must submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Praise God today, and God bless you all.

Lord, teach us to pray

Prayer is so powerful, and it should be practiced more in these last days. Prayer opens up the windows of heaven and moves the hand of God. Prayer is the key to peace and to a godly life. We must teach our children how to pray, how to communicate and commune with our Savior, our Lord, God the Father. "Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, 'Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples'"(Luke 11:1 NKJV). It is our job to teach others that prayer is the first business of our day. We cannot afford to lose our prayer life. We must make it a habit to arise and seek the face of God diligently, persistently, consistently, and with a full heart. When prayer is done out of love and faith unto the Lord, He will certainly hear the cry from your heart. Do  not let another day pass by without communicating with our Savior. Find time to cry out to our Savior, and believe me, He will hear the cry of your heart. God bless you.

That which is lost

"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10 NKJV). Jesus came to seek the lost, those that are bound by sin. He did not come to save the righteous, but He came to those that were lost in bondage, blinded by the lust in their hearts, and only desired more of this world. So many today are lost and blinded by the gods of this world, and Christ came to pave the Way to everlasting freedom. He gives us His very word, the Word of God. The Word of God is for us to believe in and to trust in by faith. In this Living Word, we learn more about Christ and God the Father. The Word teaches us how we should live our lives and how walk in the fullness of God's goodness. How great is our God! He sent His only begotten Son to seek and save the lost of this world. This takes some participation also on the church's behalf. Just as Christ showed us, we must also seek the lost of the world. It is up to us, the church today, to do what Christ has shown us to do, and that is to prepare the way for the harvest and to get ourselves ready as laborers to receive them. Seek the lost. Praise God and God bless you.

Not ashamed.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'" (Romans 1:16, 17 NKJV).How beautiful "The Gospel of Christ" is, for God is revealed in it. Yet, so many do not believe it is the Living Word of God. That is why we should not be ashamed, but we should live unashamed of the living Word of God. We as believers, are to live the Word of God to the fullest by faith. The Gospel of Christ is not to be taken lightly by us, the believers. We are to uphold it in the highest. We are to put it around our hearts, walk in it, and live it out by faith. It is our instruction, our daily bread, and our very living water. Jesus Christ died that we may have freedom and stay out of bondage by giving us the Gospel, the Power of God. So many patriarchs, pioneers of the Bible, were burned at the stake, slaughtered, tortured, and thrown to the lions for their faith in the Gospel of Christ. The Gospel is the power of God, and it should not be ignored. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (I Corinthians 1:18 NKJV). Walk by faith in the world not by sight. God bless you.

His name Immanuel

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23 NKJV). God is so good. He knew exactly what this world needed. He saw that the world was without direction, and that it had no ounce of hope. He saw that it was lost in itself, and that it had a double way of life. The world was on its way to destruction and death. Without a vision or the voice of God speaking through a prophet, humanity became cold. Thank God for, Jesus Christ, who came into this world not to be served, but to serve others by laying down His own life on the cross at Calvary, becoming hope and bringing light to a dark and bound world. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life to this world. There is no other like Him. God knew salvation and freedom from sin could not be done any other way, but only by the blood of His son, Jesus. What mercy and pity God has for all humanity. He gave us life, while giving us His only begotten son as a sacrifice. He is worthy of all praise, and His mercies endure forever. Give Him praise today. God bless you.

While we were still sinners

We have received the Greatest Gift. "But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8 NKJV). Jesus Christ is the greatest and most  important gift given to all of the world. I wish I would get as excited for Christ as I did for Christmas Day years ago. I wish the whole world could get excited for Jesus Christ, and not only for a few minutes on Christmas Day. As a child, how wonderful it was as Christmas Day got closer. It was exciting to notice the new presents under the Christmas tree, and to take a peek to see who it was going to. Everyday was filled with excitement, and my brothers, sisters, and I must have tried every thing to get our parents to give us each one present to open days before Christmas. We could not wait. It was so hard to wait, but soon that day came. I remember those Christmas mornings. As a child, it was like no other day. There was so much excitement, and it only got better as the presents were being passed around. I could not wait to see what I would get, and I imagined it was the very thing I had wished for all year long. Many years later, it is not as exciting as it once was when I was a child, but I sure have learned that Jesus is the Greatest Gift. When I am down, He comes to lift my hopes up. When I fall into sin, He reminds me of everything He has done for you and I. We must remember the reason for the season, Jesus Christ. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 NKJV). God Bless you all and Merry Christmas.

A Saviour

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger" (Luke 2:11, 12 KJV). A Savior unto the world was born in the city of David. He was born in a stable and laid to rest in a manger. Jesus came into this world, not born among the rich or famous, but among the lowest of the world. The Angel of God appeared to the shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over their flock. At that time shepherds were considered the lowest in society, yet the Angel of the Lord appeared unto them and not to kings. The shepherds tended to the flocks of sheep and the first born males that were chosen for the temple sacrifice. The little city of Bethlehem was the place where the sacrificial lambs were born and raised. The Angel told the shepherds where they would find the Lamb of God, The First Born. "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting" (Micah 5:2 KJV). The Hebrew name for Bethlehem means "The House of Bread," and from that house, Jesus, the Bread of Life, was born and placed in a manger. Christ has come to free and redeem all of Humanity. What a priceless gift our Father has given to all of us. Remember the Lord Jesus Christ this Christmas day and all He Gave to see us free. God bless you, and have a blessed day.

Endure unto the end

"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (Matthew 24:11-13 KJV). Love is rare in this world. There is very little passion and pity for the broken hearted. There is no more room for love in our hearts but plenty of room for self-gain and prosperity. There are so many messages from the House of God that speak on prosperity more then the message of love. Neither God nor Jesus ever said we were to become millionaires in the last days, but He spoke of sufferings, death, hatred, distress, betrayal, and anguish instead. Yes, God loves to see His children prosper, but through  Him. God will and has blessed those who seek His Kingdom first, and not those who try to make their own kingdom here on earth. He comes first. The result of a nation who puts self first is a nation that will wax hard through iniquity, refusing and not knowing the real prosperity that the Love of the Lord can bring to the heart and a nation. Thank you for praying and for your heart for the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you.

Woe to the rebellious children

"Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin." (Isaiah 30:1 KJV). Lord, we need You in this World more then anything in life. We  put You aside for a while, thinking we can easily come back where we once were with You. However, rebellion and lawlessness has no respect for anyone. Sin will take us farther then we ever intended to go. I believe many in this world are going to realize there is no other hope except the hope we find in Jesus. Here in America, we have taken God out of every thing man can possibly do, and when all Hell hits we ask ourselves, "Where is God?" Some people will even blame God. While in reality, He is not around because we excused Him from our lives and homes. We truly live in  heartless times. In this world, it's all about what we can get for ourselves, and we don't care who gets hurt while trying to get it. It is no longer the Land of the Free, but "The land is for Me". Lord we need You in this land, in our schools, homes, the work place, and in the church. We need to arise in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and pray for this world and the innocent children who know no better then what they have been born into. Cry out for your country today. Praise the Lord, and God bless you all.

Fear of death

"Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage" (Hebrews 2:14, 15 NKJV). Fear fills the heart of this generation who walks around the world today. Death is the last stop for every living creature. Whether they believe in Jesus Christ or not, everyone has to face death. To this day, death has many in bondage and living in fear. The Word of God says, "The wages of sin is death". So, sin brings a spiritual death, while Jesus Christ brings life to your spirit. There are two terrors, guilt of sin and fear of death, that only God can deliver a person from. Jesus, through His death, came to destroy Satan, who had the power of death. That all who believe in Jesus will be saved from the grip of fear and no longer live under the bondage of death. Jesus conquered death, and has given us a Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to help us in these last days. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (II Timothy 1:7 NKJV). Christ took on flesh and blood, not the form of angels but of man, to become the perfect sacrifice and redeem all humanity from the fearful wages of death. Give God praise. God bless you all

The Whole Armour of God

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand"  (Ephesians 6:13 KJV).  Run from the darkness that fills this nation. Run from the immorality that floods the streets and televisions today. The battle has started, and the devil is putting out his very best to come up against Christ's best. It is like the last game of the year, and we are down to the last minutes of the game. Each team is hungry to win, but the one with the biggest heart and determination will win. We know that Christ has already won, but the battle is not over yet. We still have to fight against the principalities of darkness and the spiritual forces of wickedness. The battle can only be fought when the believer puts on the whole armor of God. Only then are we able to stand successfully against the strategies of the devil. Put on The Belt of Truth. The Belt of Truth is what keeps us together. Put on the Breastplate of Integrity, Right Standing with God, and shod your feet with the Gospel of peace. The Shield of Saving Faith covers and protects you from flaming arrows of the wicked one. The Helmet of Salvation renews your mind, while the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, keeps the enemy defeated and on the run. Pray at all times on every occasion and in every season. This armor is what God the Father gives to us, His very children, to fight the battle and come out of it victorious. God bless you all.

My Shepherd

"The  Lord  is my shepherd; I shall not want"(Psalms 23:1 KJV). Words cannot express the pain I feel for the families in Connecticut. My heart goes out to dads and moms who lost their little ones and for the teachers who stood up against the shooter to protect little ones from getting hurt. Dec 14, 2012 was a nightmare. Many woke up finding the very thing they loved was taken from them in a moment and there was nothing they could do about it. I cannot comprehend the pain the parents are feeling, but our church has been praying for the parents and families, that God will touch them spiritually, physically and financially, and that Christ Jesus will strengthen them during this devastating time in their lives. These kind of rampages are common in America and the world anymore. It is so sad how heartless many have become in this world. There is no more conviction or conscience in the heart of man. Many have become cold. We need Jesus, not just another service, but a commitment to serve Him with a whole heart, in order to arise and walk in His peace. God bless you all. Our prayers go out to you and your families.

Herein is Love

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins"  (1 John 4:10 KJV).  Our first moments with the Lord are the moments we will never forget. For instance, the first time the Lord came into our hearts and touched us so strongly, is a moment not easily forgotten. When we received the Lord into our hearts, He did not look down upon us as if we were some fakes that were doing the same thing as the others around us were doing. God is sure at what He does, and He makes sure every moment with Him is worth more and greater then the last. The more we fall in love with Him, the more He can move around us, and the more He can consume us in His presence. God is out to share and give us our needs. He will take care of those who will reverently and worshipfully fear Him. It is totally up to us, on how far we will go and fall in love with our Lord. God has done His part by giving us Jesus and the Holy Spirit to teach us and counsel us in this world. All He wants back from us is love, and not only love for Him but for others also. We must check our hearts and make sure we have Him as our first love in our lives. We cannot just love in speech, but as God our Father has shown us, which is with a whole heart, our very being, the whole of us. Love is what keeps a relationship standing. Seek God with faith and love. God bless you.

The Lord pitieth them that fear Him.

"For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him" (Psalms 103:11-13 KJV). When sin takes over, guilt and condemnation fills our hearts , even if it is just for a few seconds. We tend to run from the Word of God and hide from God for a while, assuming and hoping He did not see or that He might forget our sin. When conviction floods our  minds and hearts, it isn't that easy to hide or run . We knew what we were doing by putting God aside and indulging in the appetites of the flesh. Then reality hits and hits hard, and we sometimes say, "I knew I would fall into it again!" or Am I really saved?" This happens to the best of them. We are all but dust, and God the Father can see the struggle. He is not counting our sins, but asking us to get up and walk once again with Him, even closer then before. We have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. We are saved even though we may fall. His grace is sufficient. Praise God, and God bless you all.

Streams of tears.

"My eyes overflow with streams of tears because of the destruction of the daughter of my people.  My eyes overflow continually and will not cease  Until the Lord looks down and sees from heaven" (Lamentations 3:48-50 AMP).  Jeremiah was called the weeping prophet because he saw the hurt and need of God's people. He recognized that the priests in the house of God were without a vision, and had no voice to cry out on behalf of the people. They lost hope for the nation, and kept their heads down. Israel and its inhabitants polluted and deprived themselves, forsaking the Lord, The Fountain of Living Waters. This all started at the house of God and with the men of God. "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump" (Galatians 5:9). Corruption came in, took over, and the nation as a whole reaped from it. Where is the crying heart today? The intercessors of the nations? The men and women who see and feel a burden for the hurt and those in pain that cry out from the streets. We need to pray for the people of this world and our leaders. There is no time to play. We have to pray. God bless you all.

The Remnant.

"And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven," (Nehemiah 1:3, 4 KJV).  Murder without shame, and killing without rage, people are just doing it to do it. Evil has surely fallen on America, and it corrupts the minds of men and women to kill, steal, and destroy. The eyes of many have become so distorted and blinded to the darkness that floods this world. Neither men nor women have a conscience anymore. They don't recognize that the devil is doing all he can to pull whoever he can from the will of God. Shootings and killings have become the usual topic heard on the local news. We sure have fallen far from God, which means God's judgment will come. In the middle of all the turmoil and chaos in this world, there is still hope to those that fight back on their knees in intercession for our countries and nations. Nehemiah heard, and what he heard took him into a time of prayer and fasting. The captivity of his people and the walls of Jerusalem being broken down, brought him down on his knees to cry out to God for their sins that they sinned against God. vs.6: " Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned". God help us! We need to intercede for humanity with a whole heart. God bless you.

Why do the nations rage.

"Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed,  saying,  “Let us break their bonds in pieces And cast away their cords from us” (Psalm 2:1-3 NKJV).  Man has tried, ever so hard, to disassociate himself from God. Man first built a tower that would reach up to heaven, and found out it did not work. The Word of God upsets people, and so many cannot stand even to hear the name of His only begotten son, Jesus. Nation rages against nation, and many will try to work things out in their own way, which will only lead to emptiness and worthlessness without God. Even today in many parts of the world the practice of Christianity is forbidden, and those who are caught in it will be punished or even killed. God and His anointing is a threat to this dark age and to the many nations in this world. Kings may try to break down everything God has done and come against His anointed, but they will not have the victory, God will.   "He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:" VS: 3,4. God the Father is in charge. He is on the top. Praise Him with all your heart. God bless you.

He will be with you.

"And the Lord, He  is  the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed" (Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV).   God is always a few steps ahead of man. He has a plan, and His plan is to help us. When Moses was old, he knew his time was up as being a leader of the children of Israel. God had already begun to build, mold, and form a new leader out of the men. See, God doesn't lack on people or the need of leaders. He will place the right person, in the right place, and at the right time. Joshua was His man. Since the beginning, when they first came out of Egypt, Joshua had been faithful and obedient. God will exalt those who are humble, and humble those who choose to exalt themselves to the top. So, Joshua was the man to lead Israel over the Jordan and into the Land filled with milk and honey. Joshua was not going into the promise land alone, he was also leading two million or more Israelites right behind him. It's easy to be a leader when you have the crowd following, but it takes God to lead them properly and safely. God was in control of this leader, Joshua, and this leader was submissive to God. To be great leaders, we must be great followers. We learn from the greatest example, Jesus Christ. Praise God today with all your heart.

Do not fear them.

"And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.” (Joshua 10:8 NKJV). Darkness was defeated 2,000 years ago by Jesus Christ and the Cross of Calvary. The Children of Israel were moving into the promise land, and they were up against many enemies. They had God on their side, and men who knew how to stand up in the mist of a spiritual war. Joshua had no fear of the enemy because he was separated for God. God saw Joshua as a man that did not see the enemy standing, but defeated, struck down by the sword and dead. "And the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;" (Ephesians 6:17 NKJV). Our sword is the very Word of God, and we must understand and acknowledge it as a powerful, living, devil chasing, and God speaking Word. There is no other way to have victory, but through Christ Jesus and the Word of God. We need a sword to defeat the enemy, and it can't be done by just any sword. It takes the very Word of God. God bless you all.

No Intercessor.

"He saw that  there was no man, And wondered that there was  no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him"  (Isaiah 59:16 NKJV). There was no man that would stand in the gap for the Truth. The Lord saw that there was no one, and it displeased Him. The few that did stand became victims of persecution and prey to those that lived in unrighteousness. When the Truth is pushed out, justice has no stand. Israel's heart could not produce righteousness. Their hearts had turned aside from God, and chased after the vanity. They allowed the enemy to come and corrupt their thoughts and hearts. They became idle to the Truth, while evil took over their minds. They were thoughtless and lost in their iniquities. However, God had a plan. "The Redeemer" will come to those who turn from their transgression. "And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion,  And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.” (Romans 11:26, 27 NKJV). Jesus is our Savior, and in Him is justice to the fullest. God bless you.

Many will grow cold

"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold" (Matthew 24:11, 12 NKJV). How near are we to the Lord? How much do we really love the Lord? These are two honest questions that each believer can answer. Let us be honest. Does Christ really have first place in our hearts? Do we have a secret place we meet with Him daily? Here in America, 78% of adults claim to be Christians. There is a big majority of this nation that believes in God and that they are saved. However, how many of them truly love Him and have a relationship with Him?  Football stadiums are filled on Sundays, and many men are glued to the television. Night clubs are filled, along with the divorce court, and children are left without a mom or dad. Drugs, alcohol, pornography, and immoral living floods America. This can not be the result of the 22% that remains as non believers. The fact is we have lost the love for our first love. We have become so cold to the will of God. These are some exciting times we live in, but at the same time scary times, for the wrath of God falls on the godless. Keep watch that no one deceives you. The Lord is coming back soon. God bless you.

Made intercession for the transgressors.

"Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors" (Isaiah 53:12 NKJV). We sure have an awesome God and Savior who allowed all guilt and iniquity to lay upon His Son, that we might walk in freedom. Through His sacrifice, we are free from all the principalities and powers of the present darkness and spiritual wickedness. Jesus came to save all man kind, every child, man, and woman, and He made a way to the Throne of Grace, that all may come and rejoice with the King of Glory. Today Jesus sits at the right hand of God, standing between us and God the Father. He is interceding and intervening on all of our behalf. "Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us" (Romans 8:34 NKJV). As believers, we are covered by the atonement Christ made 2,000 years ago. If God is for us, who can be against us? God gave His son freely, so let us all walk in Christ freely. Praise God. God bless you all.

More than that.

"And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed  is  the womb that bore You, and  the  breasts which nursed You!” But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Luke 11:27, 28 NKJV). " The Word of God is what keeps the believer standing in the midst of this world. The Word of God is our daily bread and provision in these dark times. When the world is without, the believer that keeps God's Word is blessed and not in lack. We can't afford to ignore God's Living Word. We need to draw closer to it then ever before and live in it and by it, obeying its every instruction. Yes, Mary the mother of Jesus was blessed, and we too are blessed, for we have the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit who teaches us and interprets the very words that came from our very God. How blessed we are to have such a powerful, life changing, demon chasing, Word at our very reach. "Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it". Praise God and God Bless You.

Lord, Lord

“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?  Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:" (Luke 6:46, 47 NKJV). The Word of God has been around longer then any man, and it will stand forever. It has been given to every country, pushed out of many nations, and still remains forever holy and unchanged. It is a shame that not too many men or women desire the truth or the promises from the inextinguishable Word of God. It is time to open up the Holy Bible, and begin to build from the very words that came from a loving Father to His children. "Lord, Lord," help us learn to build on Your Word, the very foundation You have given unto all who come to You. Let us not just be hearers of the Word, but also doers, and to build on the Rock. "He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the Rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the Rock" vs. 48.  God bless you.

Turn you at my reproof:

"How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you." (Proverbs 1:22, 23 KJV) There are two questions in this one verse. One question reads: How long will many fools love their simplicity?  To have a love for self gain among the foolish things of this world is to be foolish. Wisdom cries in the gates of the city, and in modern days, from the church house . However, the simple refuse to hear the truth, and they would rather fill themselves with the foolish things of this world. The scorners take delight in mocking, for they hate knowledge and everything about it. With words of eloquence, they use their mouths to bring others to their simplicity, and they disrupt the voice of wisdom. Wisdom will never stop pleading and speaking up. She says to the simple, "Turn you at my reproof (turn to my correction) and I will pour out my spirit unto you". What a promise the Lord gives to us all. God invites all to taste and see how good He is. So, let us not forsake Wisdom. Give God praise.

I love the Lord

"I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live" (Psalm 116:1,2 KJV).  How many times have we been hit hard by the world, even to the point of giving up on life all together? David knew what it was like to be brought down and put down to the point of giving up. However, before the thought of giving up ever took him over the edge, he would run to the throne of God. He would find a place to cry out and pray to the Lord. He knew God would hear because God heard every time David called out. David had no doubt in the Lord, and he loved God for hearing his heart in his times of need. God heard him even in the times when he did not expect the Father to hear him. When death and pain surrounded him and during the times he forsook the Lord, God heard his cry. When things looked as if they couldn't get any worse, they did. "The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul." vs. 3 & 4. The Lord came to his aid and poured out His mercy upon him, just as He does today in our lives. Call upon the Lord with all your heart, and you won't regret it. He will come. God bless you.

And I Give.

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" (John 10:28 KJV). It's the season of giving, and how good it feels to have something given to you. It also feels good to give to a person who is in need and has very little hope, or to give to someone who does not expect it. How beautiful it is to give. It's beautiful just to see the reaction of one's face and the joy it brings to the heart, both to theirs and yours. I believe God's heart feels joyfully excited when He gives His children a gift from above. He so freely gives out gifts, without a grudge or a second thought. He gives to all who ask. He gave us the greatest gift in life, one that will never expire or fall apart. This gift is for life, and it will keep on shinning. It cannot be moved. It is the gift of Jesus Christ, God's only Begotten Son. What a honor it is to have been given the greatest gift of life, Jesus Christ. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will always be there with you. Give and give with an open heart, as God the Father gave, and your heart will be blessed. God bless you all.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound" (Isaiah 61:1 KJV) Jesus teaches us the whole truth. He walked the earth, not looking for fame or fortune, but to proclaim the Good News. God the Father anointed Him with power from on high to preach the unadulterated Word of God. Jesus was given the task from God, the Father, to heal. "The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent" (Ps 34:18). We are all free and stand in liberty, because of what Christ did at the Cross. When we were far from God, dead in our sins, Jesus died so that all humanity might be free. Those who are in chains, bound by addictions and lusts, can find freedom at the foot of the Cross. Jesus did what He had to do here on earth under the authority of the Father.  He is the only way to God, the Father, in Heaven. Praise Him. God bless you.

I will sing of thy power.

"But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defense, and the God of my mercy" (Psalm 59:16, 17 KJV). Proclaim the name of Jesus, and sing onto the Lord even when the enemy surrounds you. Make a joyful noise, and let the old devil know you have the victory. The victory comes from the One who has bruised the devil's head with His heel. Sing aloud, lift your voice to the One True God, and proclaim His mercies and loving kindness to the world. Step out into the world with God as your strength, who is strong and able to defend you as your Lord. When trouble arises and discord comes, trust in God, cry out to the heavens, and He will hear. He is our Defender, Redeemer, Savior, Counselor, and Hope in these last days. There is no other like our God, who loves all humanity with all His heart. Sing unto the Lord with a new song, and give Him Praise for He is so worthy. God Bless You

Safe and sound through Him.

"For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation  and  be made safe  and  sound through Him" (John 3:17 AMP). There is hope for the lost and freedom for the slave, just believe. Jesus came down to this earth with one purpose, and He did what He came down to do. He came to save the lost soul that is bound with sin and hurt. He came to heal the brokenhearted and to pour out the love of the Father upon that heart. He came to serve and not to be served. "While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly" (Romans 5:6 AMP). What "LOVE" and pity He has for the sinner, the drug addict, the adulterers, the homosexual, the abused, the abuser, the molested, and the molester.  For all who have fallen short of the glory of God, there is time to repent, dust yourself off, and come to Jesus, who is the Leader and Source of our faith. Give Him Praise for He is Worthy. God Bless You.

Moses delayed

"And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him" (Exodus 32:1 KJV). As we, the believers, wait for the Lord's return for His Bride, the Rapture, many in the church have gotten hesitant in the waiting. Many have became lukewarm in their stand for Christ. The passions and lusts of this world have pulled in and trapped many souls. People have begun to look for other ways into heaven other than Jesus. What was once a total surrendered believer, is now one following his own heart's desires and the habits of the flesh. The children of Israel had experienced some very powerful moments with God, but that was not enough. All they ever knew in their lives was slavery and they were willing to go back into it, even after seeing God's mighty hand move. How quickly they forgot God and all He had done. "Make us gods, which shall go before us". Man has imitated the Lord with other "gods" for many years only to one day find out there is only One True God and no other. The only way through the wilderness of this world is with the guidance of the Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ. He already made a way for you and I. Give Him Praise. God Bless You All.

But Jesus said.

"But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat" (Matthew 14:16 KJV).  God is our provider in and through it all. He knows exactly what we need and the very time we need it. He is never late nor early, but He is always on time. When the children of Israel walked through the wilderness, He was their provider. They didn't have a supermarket or rest stations with running water, no, God, Jehovah-jireh,  provided. He gave them water that gushed out of the Rock and mana from heaven. When they they thought "it couldn't get any better then this", meat fell from the sky. God will always provide. Jesus fed five thousand men, besides the women and children, with five loaves of bread and two fish.  "And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full" (Matthew 14:20 KJV). There were also some leftovers. God is in the work to give and take care of His children. We must also be willing to give back to Him, and all He asks for is our obedience, faith, and to trust in the Word of God. Ask God, "What can I do for you today? How can I provide and be of a help to Your Work?  Give God Praise. God Bless You.

If a kingdom is divided.

"And if a kingdom is divided  and  rebelling against itself, that kingdom cannot stand" (Mark 3:24 AMP). We step out in faith today, and face a world that is in need of the glorious touch of God. Our faith in God above can change the way life comes and goes around us each day. There is so much anger and hate for one another in this world, and most of it starts at home. Fathers are against sons and daughters against mothers. The home is being attacked and torn in two. Here in America, divorce is a very common thing. The covenant between husband and wife has been thrown out of the window. Many do not take it serious and don't understand the importance of that covenant. Any more, people think it's all about shacking-up. Many times it is the kids that pay for the bad and selfish decisions that the parents make. Once the enemy gets a hold of the house, that house will be divided and will not stand.  "And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand" vs 25. The devil has many homes turned upside down. Members of the household are fighting and disrespecting one another, and kids are ruling and telling the parents what to do. Kids are raising kids because mom or dad are not around. We as believers have to pray for the homes across this world. Ask God to move upon all the homes in this world, to wake them up spiritually from their sleep, and to touch those who are crying out for help. Step out today in faith. God bless you all.

Risen with Christ

"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. "  (Colossians 3:1-3 KJV).  Through the Cross of Jesus we are all free from the curses and our debts have been paid in full. How wonderful it is to be free, but how easy one can attach themselves to the ways and things of this world. One can attach themselves to this world through a job or career, relationships, education, or even family, to just name a few. You may ask what's wrong with these things? There's nothing wrong with having a good job, a great education, or any of the other, but we must seek those things which are above, where Christ sits, first. Too many take for granted the promises of God, and would rather fill themselves with the worldly ways. Set your affection (mind) on things above. This means we need to put more energy and time on seeking things from above and not only desire them. Many spend so much time and effort on reaching for their own wants and desires from the world, rather then the promises from God above. "Set your heart on things above, not on things on the earth". Praise God. God bless you all.

The Truth of God

"Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name" (Romans 15:8,9 KJV). Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we are all as one in the eyes of God. We as Gentiles are grafted in, not by our works or what we have done, but by "mercy" on the Lord's behalf. When we were all outsiders to the world, the Lord took us in. When we had no hope in this life and the road ahead of us was full of darkness, the Lord was our Light to help us through it all. So many times we fall short of the glory of God and He still has patience and love for us. How powerful is our God, our Creator, who takes His time in making you and I into someone beautiful. He's paved a way that leads us to eternity in heaven with Him. Jesus paid the price for our sins. How can we ever repay Him? Praising Him is a good start. God bless you all today.

Before His presence

Psalms 95:2 "Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms". We have an invitation to come to the Lord by faith. We are invited to come before His presence and give Him thanks for all He has done in our lives. How good it feels to know we are saved and redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. How beautiful the love He shows and His mercy He continues to bring forth when we are in times of need. Let us shout and sing with joy for He is good and ready to defend us from the enemy. He is always there to help us get up when we fall short. There are no words that can express the love and hope our Lord has for you and I. Give Him Praise before His presence with songs of thanksgiving. God Bless You.

Doth not Wisdom cry

"Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors" (Proverbs 8:1-3 KJV). The Word of God cries out in these last days to all who have an ear to hear. She stands in the high places trying to get the attention of the world. Most of the world has been preached to, and many have come to the Lord and now trust in Him as their Savior. Praise God. We, here in America, have channels on television that are dedicated to bringing forth the Word of God, and so many book stores that sell the Holy Bible and other inspiring books that point to the Bible. Yet, we are in great need of a Holy Ghost Revival. So many young and old people are lost and under bondage, while wisdom cries out and tries to get their attention. How bad times look. Wars and devastation are happening not only here in America, but all over this world. Wisdom cries and stands waiting in the paths that many walk every day. We need to Pray and read the Word of God even when we don't feel like it. We must be prepared for the Lord's Return for His Bride, you and I.

Why do you sleep?

"And He said to them, Why do you sleep? Get up and pray that you may not enter [at all] into temptation." (Luke 22:46 AMP). We cannot afford to be caught sleeping, for in doing so we might just miss the greatest blessing of our lives. In this scripture, Jesus knew what was about to take place, and He knew it would take God's Will and strength , not His own, to see it done. However, His disciples were filled with grief and confused on the matters that were spoken to them by Jesus. So, they fell asleep while Jesus prayed in agony.  Such is the church today; in many parts of the world they're asleep. Yet, we have a Mediator and One High Priest, who sits on the right hand of the Majestic God in heaven making intercession for you and I. Jesus is still at work making petition and intervening for us. He sure is worthy of our praise. Look at all the evil around us, and how the world is filled with the temptation that so easily seeks the flesh. It's time to pray, not that our will be done but God's Will in us and here on earth. Pray that none be led into temptation and found asleep spiritually among us. God Bless you all.

Thankful

"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 1:12-14 KJV). The Apostle Paul was thankful for Jesus Christ and the mercy and grace the Lord gave him abundantly. Even though he persecuted Christians, the Lord was still merciful. There is so much to be thankful for, not only today, but through the many years that have come and gone. I could be thankful for the material things I might have, but they only last for a season. Soon enough it will all perish and be gone. I am thankful for God, who gives us so much more and greater things than those that perish. He gives us eternal life in His kingdom forever and ever. I am so thankful for the time when the Lord came through the door and set me free. I am thankful for the many nights when He was there when I was in need. I am also thankful for my family who I will see saved one day soon, set free, and washed by the Blood of Jesus. There are so many things I am thankful for, moments that have changed my life forever. I'm so thankful for the times when the Lord walked in to my office and prayed with me, and the many altar calls when the Holy Spirit fell upon our youth group and the Power of God set them free. I am very thankful for every thing the Lord has done and is still doing around you and I. What are you thankful for this day?

Keep awake

"Keep awake then and watch at all times [be discreet, attentive, and ready], praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things [taken together] that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man." (Luke 21:36 AMP). Keep awake, and don't fall asleep in the world of worldliness. Seek Christ Jesus with all of your heart, and pray for your loved ones like you have never prayed for them before. Christ's return is so close, and we must be ready. He can come any day now for His Church, His Bride. The signs of the end time are surely evident. We must be on watch at all times that our hearts do not get weighed down with the cares of this life. We mus also be careful that our spirit does not fall asleep and become relaxed with no fight. We must pray for strength to overcome the temptations that flood this world and for the ability to be accounted worthy. Our faith must be only in Christ Jesus and not in the governments of our countries. Stand today in His Love, ever waiting for His great return for His Children. Hold fast to your faith, and do not be moved, because it will get a little bumpy. God Bless You All.

I am the Door

"I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture."(John 10:9 AMP).  The Lord is at the door knocking. Who will open the door of their hearts for the Lord to come in and dwell? He's looking for someone to grow with and teach how to be just like Him. He's looking for one who will follow Him and grow into a beautiful child of God, and one that will stand up and praise His Holy Name in this evil day. Jesus is the door, and all must walk through Him and with Him before they can go to heaven. However, there will be some that choose not to, and they will find themselves in a world of hurt and evil. The Lord came to save the sinner from the world, and the only way to be saved is by entering through Him, the door. You who have an ear, hear the voice of the Good Shepherd and follow Him through the door. Is He knocking on the door of your heart? Praise the Lord. God Bless You.

I know your works

"I know your [record of] works and what you are doing; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth!" (Revelation 3:15, 16 AMP). The Lord points out the works of the church in Laodicea. This church has lost its fire, need, and dependence for the Holy One. So they have become dependent on their own works of the flesh, and they also glory in them. How far one can go from the One True God. Pride will kill a church or an individual. This Church, that is neither cold nor hot, makes God sick to His stomach. All that He gave for the freedom of His children, the hurt and pain that He carried to Calvary, His own blood poured out to wash every sinner clean and to bring them back to Eternal Life with our Savior, was taken for granted in this church. We have to fight in this last hour for our families and the rest of the churches in this world. Pray that they will long for the One True God. Ask the Holy Spirit to rekindle the fire you once knew, and that you would long it for once again. The Lord is at the door knocking and waiting for the church to let Him in. He is the only way, The Door, to the Father in Heaven. Glorify God in all that you do. Give Him Praise. God Bless You.

He health the broken in heart

"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3 KJV).  A broken heart does not feel too good. It may feel as if the whole world came down upon it and crushed it. Many times we look to  the world for a healing or someone to make it feel good again. As a result, we will try the old friends, a movie, drugs, or alcohol, only to find out it works for a little while, if at all. However, in reality the heart was never healed. The heart is a very sensitive organ, yet it's the strongest of all the organs in the human body. The heart never stops to take a break or rest, but it keeps on pumping blood to every part of the body. When the heart is broken, the whole body is affected by the hurt and pain. Jesus loves it when someone decides to turn to Him with a broken heart. He knows if He fixes the heart this person will never be the same. This person will see things a whole lot different, in a peaceful way. God is into the Heart healing business. He'll take that broken heart and make it alive with life. He will fill it with love, joy, hope, and His very presence. The Lord does not like to see His children hurt or ashamed in any way. He is here to help us not to harm us. Run to Him with all your heart, and let Him be your healer. Give God Praise. God Bless You.

Seek good, and not evil.

"Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph." (Amos 5:14, 15 KJV). All good things come from Heaven above, where the Father is seated. What good can come from the world that we live in? The world can only be good if one has no relationship with the Lord or is selfish and prideful. Look around and see how much evil has come into your city or town. The filth that fills the streets of America and other countries is growing. The poor are looked down upon, and the rich are honored. How evil the world has become. So many have exchanged the good for the evil, even in the House of God. Some will push away the hurt and bound, and not help them or speak the Word of God to them. So much hurt is in this world, and we have the answer. The problem is many in the church still have one foot in the evil and desire no full surrenderance. They might think they are fine. Seek what is good. Hate what is evil and seek the good. Help us stand for the good. Give God Praise. God Bless You.

The harvest truly is great

"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." (Luke 10:2 KJV).  Are we ready for the coming of the Lord? Are we stamped and sealed for eternal salvation? Do we believe in Christ's return for His Bride? These are some questions that we should all be able to answer very easily. You would be surprised on how many youth (teens) have a hard time answering them. For, it is easy to say "I am saved", but not so easy to believe I will make it to Heaven. So much worldliness has grabbed the heart of this younger generation, and they cannot seem to make up their minds as to what they want. We as the Body of Christ need to grab them before the world does. It is a scary thought of where the church will be in 20-30 years from now if the Lord would tarry. The only answer to all of this and the only way we will see the youth come back to the Lord with a full heart is by our prayers. We need to pray and fast in these last days not only for our own households but for those who live next door. We have to see revival. We need a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this world. Prayer is the key to win the harvest, and the laborers need to be ready with the Love of the Lord to invite them in. Pray today for the Laborers among us and that many more will come forth. God Bless You.

The Lord will come.

"For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the [return of the] Lord will come [as unexpectedly and suddenly] as a thief in the night" (1 Thessalonians 5:2 AMP).  As a thief in the night, our Lord Jesus Christ will return. The Apostle Paul is saying here, that those who choose not to believe will be caught unaware. All of the sudden, in a twinkle of an eye, the world we live in will be changed forever. The Lord is coming back for His Church and the Body (church) will be taken out of this world. We shall be changed, our old nature, the corruptible, must put on the incorruptible. We will put on the glorified body with no more sin and no more death. We must be ready for this day of the Lord's return. Edify one another, encourage one another, and strengthen those around you. This is no time to get comfortable, but the time to cry out for the lost souls out there in the world. It's the time we should all be praying for our loved ones that are blind and bound to this world and the things of it.  We should be crying out, "Repent for the day of the Lord's return is near!" Get ready and do not be caught unexpectedly. Praise God and God Bless You.

The Lord does not delay

"The Lord does not delay  and  is not tardy  or  slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 AMP). God has been so patient with us, while all the darkness has flooded the earth. He loves us all so much. He wants to make sure all humanity has made up their minds whom they will serve. He is waiting and watching desiring that none shall perish. God desires that none die under the rule of the darkness. He has hope that one day all will run back into His arms, seeking deliverance and God's will to set them free from their bondage and sin. From now and until then He will continue loving us and having mercy upon us. How good is our God! He desires that none perish, but all should turn to repentance. Give Him Praise. God Bless You.

The high walls

"NOW JERICHO [a fenced town with high walls] was tightly closed because of the Israelites; no one went out or came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, See, I have given Jericho, its king and mighty men of valor, into your hands." (Joshua 6:1, 2 AMP). God is a God that will give us anything He sees fit, but most of the time we, as believers, must work for it. It may come through prayer and fasting or giving to the church or to those in need, but it needs to come from our hearts. The Lord saw a man, "Joshua", willing to give himself, his life, to God, and it was not just in words but his heart was willing. The Lord saw the Israelites and their children were ready for their blessing, so He made a way for them by opening the flooded Jordan river. Now, in the Promise Land they really had to trust and put their faith in God. This was a land filled with the enemy of their souls. The victory only comes by trusting and loving God with all your soul, mind, and might. So, God gave them Jericho, who's walls were high and strong, and would only come down by faith and following God's instructions. What wall or walls are in front of you? Maybe your wall is pride, bitterness, lust, lying, and the walls go on. The walls in our lives must come down, and our faith must totally be in God in order to walk in the promises of the Lord. The walls will come down when we put the Lord first in our lives, and that's the truth. God Bless You and pray for strength.

To die is gain

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain". Philippians 1:21 KJV. What a powerful scripture the Apostle Paul writes. He was in prison at the time he wrote this letter, and through it he encouraged the Church. Paul knew his time could be shortened here on earth, but whatever the out come was, life or death, he was going to glorify the Lord. As a good and faithful Christian today, we may also think "to die would be a gain". Some may say, "Get me out of this dark and wicked world". The Apostle also made it clear that as long as he was alive his body was for the use and service of the Lord. "But that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death". vs 20. This man was sold out to the works of Christ, and no pain or any kind of suffering was going to stop him. How about each one of us? Are we sold out to the will of the Lord? Are we able to live a life that will give God Glory? Pray and ask God to prepare you. God Bless You.

The Blood of His Cross

Thank you for the cross,  which paid for our sin and debt. When troubles arise and temptation comes near, I remember all You have done, Jesus, for me and the whole world. "And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross". (Colossians 1:20 AMP). So, the devil has no dominion over the children of God, and the trials of life are in front of me to teach me to trust only in You, Jesus. So, I cry out with all my heart to my Savior and Strong Tower. He is the only One that can save me from the storms that blow thoughts and fear into my mind. How great is our God who gives us love and attention even when we don't deserve it. I was lost and blind, but the Lord saw something greater in me than any man could ever see. He saw a life that could be saved, washed, and cleansed. With the unquenchable love from the Father we, His children, are unstoppable. The enemy can't stop what God brings to life. Run to Him today, for His mercies endure forever. God Bless You.

I will call on the Lord.

"I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Vs: 7. In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and He did hear my voice out of His temple, and my cry did enter into His ears." 2 Samuel 22:4, 7 KJV. David faced many difficulties in his life, and through those trials he found a Deliverer. When all Hell came upon him, he knew where to run and what to do. He was a man that fell into sin, but he never stayed in the sin. He was a man of war who was familiar with both the enemy's and his own weaknesses. Never once did King David give up on God, even if the enemy had him surrounded. When he saw the enemy coming and grabbing for his soul, he cried out to the Lord for help. He found strength in the praises he prayed, because King David had faith God would hear his cry and come to the rescue. No matter how big or dark it may seem in the world today, we have the same God that delivered King David out of his hour of need, on our side. Cry out to the Lord. If we truly call upon Him He will always hear. He is the only one that can help you and I in these trying times. Give Him Praise and be saved from your enemies. God Bless You.

True Vine

"I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.  Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses  and  repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more richer and more excellent fruit". John 15:1, 2 AMP.  Jesus is very clear here on what He says about being part of the vine. He is the root of the vine, we are the branches of the Vine, and God is the Vinedresser, the Gardner and the Care Taker.  If one of the branches stops growing fruit it is cut off and taken away. A fruitless branch is no good to the Vine. It will eventually contaminate the rest of the branches. So, fruitless branches are cut off and soon to be thrown into the fire. However, those that bear fruit are cleaned and looked upon carefully, pruned to bear more fruit. The more a fruitful branch is pruned the richer and more excellent is the fruit that comes forth. So, we as believers, who stay in the Word of God, fed by His very Word, will produce fruit. There will come a time in our walk with Christ when we will become mature and alive, bearing fruit in every good work. Seek the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. God Bless You.

Appoint us a King

"And said to him, Behold, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint us a king to rule over us like all the other nations." 1 Samuel 8:5 AMP. There really is no difference today. The people will vote in the man or woman they see fit for the job, and also according to what they desire. Just as back in Samuel's day, the people want their way not God's way. They desired to be like the other nations who were all about the works of the flesh and not of the Spirit. The Lord let them have what they wanted. He also let them know what the king was going to do as a leader of their country. God has warned us so many times, and regrettably many don't listen. No matter who is in office over our countries, it's our job as Christians to keep the fire of God's Spirit moving in our cities, towns, and our own homes. We have to vote "no" to the flesh and "yes" to the Holy Spirit. Remember the devil has his foot in just about everything around us. We need to be watchful and ready for the return of Christ, which can be any day. Gird up your loins, and praise the Lord for all He is doing. God Bless You.

Many Mansions

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  John 14:1-4 KJV". The Lord knew trouble would come after His departure from this world. For Peter trouble had already started.  Jesus had just predicted Peter's shameful denial, but the Lord reassured not only Peter but the others among them, that He was going away to prepare a place for them. He is preparing a place that has many mansions for the many believers in the Lord. Jesus said "I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also". Jesus will come back soon for you and I. It might seem crazy out there, but it isn't the time to get carried away by the craziness. Don't allow the thoughts that run through the mind or the way things are looking to bring defeat. "Let not your heart be troubled" Keep on believing in God the Father and His only begotten Son. He is preparing a place for you. Give Him Praise and God Bless You.

He may sift you

Life may surround us with its difficulties, and the storms may look as if they won't stop. So, our Jesus looks upon us, intercedes in behalf of our lives, and prays that we do not lose the faith. Jesus spoke to Peter, "Behold Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat." (Luke 22:31). Satan hasn't changed. He still tempts us in order to bring out the bad in us. He doesn't really need to tempt us as much when chaos is all around, because his job only becomes easier. However, when the believer stands in the faith with Christ Jesus, it gives Satan something to work on. Little does Satan know, Jesus is on the other end praying for all believers. Whether their faith is strong or weak, Christ is praying. V.32 "But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and when you are converted, strengthen your brethren". Satan attacks our faith because without faith we fail, then all else fails. Pray today for your country and also for the people that have been hit by storms and have lost loved ones and their homes. We need stronger faith. God Bless You.

Sometimes foolish

Titus 3:3 kjv. "For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving diverse lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another". I remember how lost and ashamed I was before I meet the Lord. There were times I felt so helpless and broken, and I would try my hardest to find a way to make myself happy. Deceived by lust and pleasures, I would chase after my next high. I would try to stop and try to change for the better, but it would only last a few days. I couldn't stop doing what my body craved so much and what my heart desired. It was taking me to Hell quickly. Then I came to the point of suicide. I had to do something because all that I tried to do never worked. One night after a day of drugging I thought,  "This is it, now or never." I grabbed the Holy Bible, got on my knees, and said, "God if your real, as this book says You are, then help me". Ephesians 2:4-6 says  "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith He loved us, vs5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) vs6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus". God is so Good! I was lost, but now I am found. Praise God. God Bless You.

Come Boldly

". Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:15,KJV". Stop hiding in your sin. God sees you hiding, and says to you, "Come, and know what My Son has for you".He sees you just as He saw Adam and Eve in the garden. He knew exactly what they had done even though they tried to hide. So many live in shame and guilt, when the Lamb of God has already  been sacrificed. The Lord is merciful and gracious. He is faithful to His Word. He is familiar with our infirmities and sufferings. He too has been tempted like you and I, but has not fallen into sin, as we do. He knows all that we face and that is why He asks us to come boldly unto the throne of grace. He knows even when we fall into sin. The way out of the condemnation is by going to the throne of grace, crying out, and repenting. The Blood of Christ has made an atonement for you and I already. We just have to believe. "For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin". Hebrews 4:16Give God Praise for His Mercies endure forever. God Bless You.

Dwell together in unity

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1 KJV."  Everything living is meant to come together in unity. Take for instance the flower and the bee. Without the flower how can the bee live? How can the flower live without the bee that spreads pollen from one flower to another? The world is made in a unique way. God sure did put the world together in an awesome way, because all things living, from the smallest insect to the largest beast in the field, are meant to help each other in some way or another. God created man to be in unity with each other also, first husband and wife, then family. Life can only grow when it comes into unity. Without unity there can be no life. The church was born when brothers and sisters in the Lord came together in unity. They all had one purpose in mind, and that was to wait for the promise from the Lord. There is power in unity. When the Body of Christ prays together as one and stands in agreement, it brings freedom, and the Anointing of the Lord flows. How pleasant it is when we as the Church dwell together in unity. We need one another so True Life can come to pass. Praise the Lord. God Bless You.

His house

"But Christ as a son over His own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Hebrews 3:6 KJV".  There is so much change that has come into this world, and time is moving so fast. So many families, here in America and around the world, have lost their jobs and along with their jobs they have also lost their homes, leaving many homeless and helpless. There is no telling how long this economic drought will go on, but the Lord says here in the book of Hebrews, Christ has a house, and we are members of this house if we hold fast to the confidence and keep our hope in Him. Times may look bad all around us, but we as believers walk by faith and not by sight. Our job is to reach out to those who are hurting and homeless. We must let them know there is a hope and a way through it all. There is a rain that will fall on this land, and it comes from Heaven above. Many might harden their hearts, but we come to encourage, warn them, and let them know Christ Jesus has plenty of room in His house for them. Pray for the families around this world and the Body of Christ. God Bless You.

The Bread of God

John 6:33 amp. "For the Bread of God is He Who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world". Jesus, God's only begotten Son, is the Bread of life. There is nothing in this world that can sustain our needs, but only the Bread from heaven, Christ Jesus Himself. We can look for joy or try to buy happiness, but only to find out that it perishes and was unable to keep us satisfied. There is so much stuff in this world made by man. It claims total happiness and for your "miracle" to come to pass, if you buy it, watch it, or just do it. There are books on "feeling good about yourself." Fill your shovels, and become the best seller. Programs fill the church house. Where is the faith in the Word of God? Many have gone so far to try to feel good about themselves, and to make a buck. Jesus said "He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in Me will never thirst any more".  Our souls will be satisfied, lacking in nothing. Jesus came to give life to this world, and only He can satisfy our needs. Give Him Praise. God Bless You.

Look to yourselves

"Look to yourselves (take care) that you may not lose (throw away or destroy) all that we and you have labored for, but that you may [persevere until you] win and receive back a perfect reward [in full]. 2 John 1:8 AMP." God is so good. When things around me look at their worst and problems start to arise, God is looking on and waiting to hear me say, "Help! I can't do this with out You. Show me how to get through it". When times get tough God is tougher. As I read the Word of God, it is a reminder of the many victories the Lord gave to those who walked in faith and obedience. The Scripture says to "Look to yourselves," take care of what we have labored for, and not to lose it, throw it away, or destroy it. It takes a lot of tears, sleepless nights, and many days in fasting and prayer. It is not time to give in or run from the call we have in Jesus, but it is time to take care of all that we do and have done, and the perfect reward in full awaits us. Examine yourself. God is faithful, and His mercies endure forever. Praise Him with all of your heart even in the heat of your trials, and never give up. God Bless You.

Yet I am not alone

John 16:32 kjv. "Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me".  Being alone can be a scary feeling. When there is no one around to encourage and help, you feel abandoned. These are the times we must seek God, grow in the faith, and become stronger in spirit. Jesus knew all the disciples were going to run when the hour came close to His Crucifixion. However, through the feelings and fear, He reminded Himself that the Father above was still with Him and right there where He was. It might seem lonely at times, but we must also remind ourselves that the Father is near when no one else is around. Let us not scatter or run when troubles come, but stand up in the storm with Our Father who stands with us. Praise God, and May God Bless you today.

Among the transgressors

Luke 22:37 kjv. "For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end." Our Lord Jesus paid it all for you and I. He got beat, whipped, spit on, mocked, and hit. He never gave up nor turned away from anyone. He came to do what the Father had sent Him to do, to bring salvation to all humanity. Along with salvation comes a new life, free from all sin. He endured through all pain and never looked back nor ran from it. He stood still and allowed the people, He was about to die for, strike Him and afflict Him.  With every pain, hurt, rebellion, and sin, He laid upon the Cross and became the curse for us all. By His Blood, we who believe are washed clean and are seen as good as new in the eyes of the Father. Jesus accomplished what was written even though He was classified as a criminal. Thank you Lord for such a sacrifice. Give God Praise for His love and the Hope He brought to you and I. God Bless You.

Strangers and pilgrims

1 Peter 2:11 kjv. "Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul." We are just passing through on this earth. We are aliens of this land. As believers of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are not called to get comfortable where we are. When one comes to Christ he or she becomes a new creation, all old things have passed away. We are strangers bought with the Blood of Christ. We are here to spread the Good News and not to get entangled by sensual urges or evil desires. So let us conduct ourselves as honorable witnesses, glorifying God in thought and action, and not with that which wars against our souls. Ask the Lord to lead and help you through every trial you may face this day. Give God Praise. God Bless you.

Obtained a good report

Hebrews 11:1,2 kjv. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report". It's all about having faith in the Lord. Without faith it is impossible to please God or follow Him. The men and women of old learned how to have faith because they tried everything else and found out nothing else worked. The Word of God worked, and because they believed they obtained a good report. Faith is strong, and it is only seen through one's actions. Faith cannot be bought, picked up from church, or given by a minister. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God and putting the Word into practice. Only then can the Word of God manifest the promises that unfold through believing the Word. In these last days, we need faith, because faith moves the hand of God in every situation the children of God face in this hour. Keep in the faith, and stand upon the Word of God in all that you do. Be patient, and don't be moved until faith moves you. God Bless You. Give God Praise.

Remember me

Judges 16:28 kjv. "And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes". The devil is out to trap the believer, and he will do all he can to grab their hearts and blind the child of God from God. The enemy tempted Samson for quite a while in his life. The devil lured Samson a little here and a little there. Then a hook was put out for him that was baited with the very thing he was weak to, lust. How quickly Samson, the strong man, fell into the trap. When one begins to play with the bait, it is only a matter of time that they eventually get hooked. How fast a life can change, when temptation is played with and not taken serious. Samson was bound in the deepest parts of prison and working for the devil. The enemy made a sport of him, laughing, and teasing him to the point where Samson began to seek the Lord once again. He may have been blind to the enemy's trap, but God can still see and hear. Just when the enemy thought he was in control, Samson spoke up from his heart "O Lord God Remember me," and the Lord heard his cry. Keep guard! The devil is out seeking whom he may devour. Give God Praise. God Bless You.

I go forward

Job 23:8-10 kjv "Behold, I go forward, but He is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive Him: On the left hand, where He doth work, but I cannot behold Him: He hideth Himself on the right hand, that I cannot see Him: But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold".  As for the believer, just as with Job, there are times when it seems that God has hidden Himself from us, and that He is nowhere near. Job could not hear Him or feel Him, but he still confessed the Lord. Life can get a little rough now and then. Just as in Job's life, problems will arise one after another and it may look like God has forgotten all about you. What do we do when terrible things stare us in the eyes, and everyday life is disturbed by chaos? We can do nothing but seek the face of God, our Savior, even though at times it seems as if He hides Himself from us. Don't be moved. He knows our ways and the steps we take. Stand still and believe, because out of these hard times arises a soul as pure as gold. Keep seeking Him, and don't give up. Praise the Lord. God Bless You.

The Lord is good

Lamentations 3:25 amp. "The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him [inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and on the authority of God’s word]." There are times while working in the ministry, that it gets so overwhelming. I hear that many pastors are stepping down from their position, and also know how hard it is to stand as a leader in the body of Christ. I look at the young people and see how so many are stagnant in their walk with Christ. Many are not so sure about the Word of God, and some just don't believe it at all. There was a time when I felt like throwing in the towel myself. There are times we can preach our hearts out, and still the body is not moved by the Word. When this happens, I look at myself and ask the Lord if it is me. Am I the problem? I believe, this question is one that the Lord has heard so many times. Times do get rough, and it may get tiresome, but we have to learn to wait upon the Lord. We are His and not our own. "The Lord is good unto to those who wait for Him." We have to learn how to wait for the Lord, because without Him we are lifeless and soon to become quitters. Seek Him for He is good. God Bless you all out there who are holding on to the Good News.

A shelter for me

Psalm 61:3, 4 kjv."For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the cover of thy wings. Selah".   How near you are to me, O Lord. The enemy of my soul seeks to grab hold of me, but I know, Lord, you are near and ready to protect me from the darkness that surrounds me. You are my strong tower, and the enemy that comes near recognizes your strength. I find a secret place where I can call upon you, and in that place peace floods my soul. How beautiful is the secret place of the Most High. There is no more fear, no more running, just the love of the Father. Your voice breaks through the silence that fills the room, and with reassurance I know you are with me and in my heart. Nothing can compare to your love O Lord. How awesome and powerful your love is. Thank you Father for such a place You give us to come to when the enemy presses in. Praise the Lord with all your heart. God Bless you.

The Lord delivered me

2 Timothy 3:10, 11 kjv "But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me." The Apostle Paul wrote nearly all of the New Testament in the Bible. He wrote 13 books, possibly 14, out of the 27. This man was amazing. He  did not let the afflictions cause him to look away from Jesus, but only to Jesus. He's writing to Timothy and letting him know the only way to serve the Lord is with all of your heart, mind, and soul, and also to never give up, for Godly living in Christ Jesus will bring persecution. Through all the persecutions, and not being moved from the faith in Jesus, the church was built. We too must fully know this doctrine, and live in it and through it. The end times are here, and many will come against the believer because of the name of Jesus. They will mock and laugh, to the point of making the believer mad. Paul endured everything the devil hit him with, and so can we. The Lord is our deliverer. Learn all you can about Jesus Christ, and pray in the Holy Spirit. God Bless you.

The shadow of thy wings

Psalm 36:7 kjv. "How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings." What love the Lord has given us all. When no one can figure you out, the Lord sure can. He formed you in your mother's womb, knitted you together, and breathed life into you. He knows our ups and downs, and our hurts and desires. He is God. There is nowhere we can run from Him or hide, even the darkness is as the day to the Lord. He sees through all storms of life. When the winds of temptation blow, and the enemy is teasing us with passionate things that can only come from the devil himself, God is there. The Lord's eyes are on His children. Sometimes we just need to cry out to make sure He is near us, for He is nearer then we think. God loves us dearly, and wants us to walk in the authority we find in Him and Him only. The authority to overcome all pains and worries; the authority to stand in the midst of the storms and winds without doubt, and not be moved. Christ knows you very well, and He wants the best for you and I here on this earth. There Is No Greater Love than the Lord's. Give Him Praise. God Bless you

Eyes of man are never satisfied

Proverbs 27:20 kjv. "Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied". Friday and Saturday night come around and so many people go to a club or a bar where they can "relax" with a few drinks, jump around with some strangers on a dance floor, and the flesh gets moved by all of this arousal in the air. As a result, the flesh plans on going back. Many teens are doing the same thing across this world, and they are going further into it then any generation before them. Many are addicted, bound by sin, and lusting over one another for self gain. Drugs of all sorts fill the party, and young men and women are falling over under the influence of alcohol and many other substances.  "Hell is never too full". As time goes by Hell just gets fuller. Man will never be satisfied as long as their eyes are upon the world. We need a revival, moved by the Holy Spirit, in this nation and around this world. Let us run to Christ, and pray for the people in this world and against the devil and his tricks. Come, let us stand together in our Lord Jesus Christ across this world. God Bless you all.

Wait thou only upon God

Psalm 62:5-7 kjv. "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my Salvation and my glory: the Rock of my Strength, and my Refuge, is in God".  Sometimes it is hard to find the time to wait upon the Lord. We live in a world that is handled by time, and the clock on the wall seems to be in charge most of the time.  There are those mornings when the clock just stops all of the sudden, and the presence of the Lord comes into the room. This is when He shows us in our spirits that it is Him and not to be moved. These are the times when time stops. In this moment, when He touches our hearts, we know without a doubt that we are on the Rock of our Salvation, and there in His very presence we will not be moved.  Every second lasts forever, and our strength is renewed from that moment on. He is our Refuge and Defense, and in Him we do not lack. Finding time for the Lord might be hard to do, but it is so worth it when He walks into the room. Find time for the Lord, and you wont regret it. Give Him Praise for He is Worthy.

Walk ye in Him

Colossians 2:6, 7 kjv. "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving". An apple tree is not just an apple tree because of the fruit it bears. It gets deeper than that. Without the roots that came from an apple seed there would be no fruit. The Word of God is a seed that blows into the hearts of the listeners and seekers. If there is good soil, which means if the seed is not taken for granted, it will germinate into a fruitful and prosperous being. In other words, the person will be blessed, and the word of God will begin to take shape in their life. Being rooted and built up in Christ Jesus is the only way we will be able to face the storms of life and get through them. With your heart rooted in the Word of the Lord, nothing will be able to move you from His arms. As time goes by, so shall your faith grow, and bring forth fruit in due season. Obedience and faithfulness brings forth the fruit of the Lord. Give God Praise for His Love. God Bless you.

Persuaded beyond doubt

Romans 8:38, 39 amp. "For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending  and  threatening nor things to come, nor powers,  Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord".  What powerful words the Apostle Paul speaks. Nothing can stop the unstoppable, and there is nothing that can break the love that Christ has for us all. Let us look at this from the very depths of our hearts.  Is there something that is threatening your life in Christ? We all know ourselves pretty good, and we also know the things that are in our lives that separate us from God's will. It might be the movies we watch, the music we listen to, or the same old self rising up time and time again. There is always something more to learn and know about the Lord. Maybe there is not enough time in a day to find for the Lord, but as Christians we should make time. Let's take some time to examine ourselves to see if there is anything possibly separating us or able to separate us from the love of God, in our lives right now. Pray as the Apostle Paul speaks, "nothing can separate me from the love God has for me and I for Him". It's a fight for your soul. Keep your eyes on Jesus. God Bless you.

By the blessing

Proverbs 11:11 amp. "By the blessing of the influence of the upright  and  God’s favor [because of them] the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked". The words from one's mouth can really do drastic things. Blessing and cursing are in the tongue of man. Think about it, if we speak negative then we will see all things around us the same way, negatively. Then we walk into a negative world. Why let your day be overthrown by words that speak louder then what the problem really is? Words reach out to people and heal those that are feeling down. Words can change someone's day either for the good or the bad, just by the way the words are spoken to them. A city is exalted by the influence of an upright person, along with their home and the places they dwell throughout the day. God's favor is upon those who speak the goodness of the Lord, and the wicked can't stand it. In return, the wicked will come in with their words and influences to try to pull down the walls God puts around His children. So it is up to the child of God to not let the negative around them influence their words within their hearts. Give God Praise. God Bless you

The gospel preached

Hebrews 4:2  kjv. "For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it". It takes faith to do just about everything around us. I know when I get up in the morning, I have to turn on the light switch. When I turn it on there is light. This is simple faith. By faith and without a doubt, the coffee maker is still working in the morning. I hope this makes sense.  It takes faith to hear the Word of God, and faith comes by hearing. The Word was preached to those in the wilderness and to most of humanity today. Is there a hope in the Word of God we are hearing? There is only one Gospel, and it has never changed. There will be so many that wish they had the proper faith, just as they possibly wished in the wilderness. Christ is our hope, and there is no other way that this hope will come to pass. It is only by faith. There is a rest to enter into, the promise of salvation, but it only comes to the believer through faith. Draw close to the Lord, and He will draw close to you. We stand in faith. Our hope is in Christ Jesus, the Redeemer of mankind. Praise the Lord today with great faith.

Search me, O God

Psalm 139:23, 24 kjv. "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting". There are times when I need to fall on my knees and ask the Lord to search my heart. Am I in the faith and at the place where He needs me to be? Have I done all to glorify Him? What is still in my heart that hinders me, and at times draws me away from His presence?  Have you asked Him to search your heart? He will search it if you ask. He'll let us know what He wants for our lives, and the very things that keep us from standing upright in His sight. The Lord knows everything about each one of us. There is no reason not to ask Him to look deep inside your heart today. Let this be your prayer today; O Lord search me thoroughly, know me, and try me. God Bless you

He sought to see Jesus

Luke 19:3, 4 kjv. "And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him: for He was to pass that way".  Zacchaeus was a determined man. He was a rich tax-collector, and a man seen as a sinner among the multitude. However, when he heard that Jesus had left Jericho and healed the blind beggar, Zacchaeus decided he was not going to miss the opportunity to see this Man who does miracles. How exciting it must have been to follow Christ along with all the others, and anticipate seeing Him do another miracle. Zacchaeus, being a short man, could not see through the crowd of people or get through the crowd. So, he decided to run down the road to the tree, that hung over the road, and climb it. He knew he would not miss the Lord there. He did not allow the crowd or his stature to hold him back from seeing the Lord. He overcame these two obstacles. Does your heart have a burning desire to see the Lord? Today, so many people find it hard to overcome the crowd and their own stature, and they miss out on the Lord. Let's not miss out, whether we have to climb the sycamore, or break through the crowd of people who stand in front of our view. Praise God.

Stand still

Joshua 3:8  kjv. "And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan".  As the priests went to the banks of the flooded Jordan, the Lord commanded them to "Stand still".  There was no way to go around the Jordan or to get through it. The Lord said " Stand Still". These were the same words He spoke to Moses when the Red Sea was in front of all of the Israelites, with Pharoh and his army pursuing them. There is no difference in our lives today. When the flood of issues come in before us, or a great big problem arises and is surrounding us from the front and back; though it may sound crazy to some, and I believe it did to the many who stood at the banks of these waters, the Lord commands us to stand still.  Standing still is the last thing we think about doing. Our first thought is to question the situation. We ask, How can "I" fix this, how can "I" make it better, or what can "I" do to help? So many times we stop the Lord from moving and doing what He needs to do. Can we stand until the Lord makes His move first?  Remember, faith can move mountains and stop the biggest storms in our lives. Stand still, fear not, and see the Lord do the impossible. Trust in Him. He is God. Give Him Praise today. God Bless you.

Preach the Word

2 Timothy 4:2, 3 kjv. "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears." It is very important that we preach and teach the Word of God under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. We must be ready to speak the Word of God at all times, and be ready for anything to happen. With the Holy Spirit in charge, there will be no worry of what to say or do, for He's in control. Too many times I have seen many get hurt by man and the way they represent The Word of God, because it was all flesh.  Without the Anointing of the Lord in the preaching or teaching, it is all self giving a word that is as dry as a river bed without water. It is void and empty. The time has come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. They will run to teachings that will suit their will and not the Lord's. However, if you have spoken the Word under the Anointing, you have done the job of Christ as a Christian. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works," 2 Timothy 3:16, 17. So be ready to preach the Word of God at anytime. Praise the Lord.

Faint and weary

Deuteronomy 25:17,18 amp. " Remember what Amalek did to you on the way when you had come forth from Egypt, How he did not fear God, but when you were faint and weary he attacked you along the way and cut off all the stragglers at your rear". We can't afford to fall behind in our walk with the Lord. There is no time to put prayer, worship, and the study of the Word on hold. This is the time to keep holding on to the Holy Spirit of the Lord. This is the time to push through, and seek a breakthrough in the prayer closet. Remember the many times when we allowed our day to go by without seeking the Lord, and how easily distracted we became by the world. The more we payed attention to our flesh the easier the enemy charged in and took over. There's no time to get weary and faint. We must stay active in Christ. Don't allow your flesh to get the best of you. We need a breakthrough! Lift your hands unto Jesus, and give Him praise when the enemy is coming at you, but most importantly, be ready before the enemy attacks. God Bless you.

Attend to my loud cry

Psalm 142:6, 7 amp. "Attend to my loud cry, for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I".  Persecution of the Church is an ongoing threat in the Eastern part of the world. There's been a spiritual battle since Cain and Abel, and it doesn't look like it is ever going to stop. More than 250 million Christians, in over 60 nations, are currently living under the threats of persecution, and 60% of them are children. Teens in America are also being persecuted for Christ, and many will not stand up for Jesus once they are faced with persecution. They don't want to feel rejected by friends or even family. However, there is still a remnant of strong believers among us that are willing to go all the way with the Lord, that are crying out. Are we where we need to be in Christ? We should be standing up when the enemy comes in to devour. It can be overwhelming to stand up for Jesus if it costs us a long time friendship, a relationship with a brother or sister, or maybe even our job. Whatever the cost may be, the world needs to know we are not backing down from where Jesus Christ has placed us. Persecution will come, but are we spiritually strong enough to take it? Do we have the faith it takes to cry out to the Lord when the enemy of persecution is right in front of us? Pray for the many Christians that face the enemy of persecution today, and pray for those who persecute you. God bless you.
