By faith

We all arise each day with new choices to make. Many times we bring the old decisions from yesterday into the new day, and we live today based off of yesterday's decisions. We have to be careful how we make our choices. Are our choices led by faith? We must think about our choices before we make them. What will be the consequences to our decisions we will make today? Are we making a decision based only on what our appetites of the flesh wants, for a quick moment of pleasure, or is our decision based on what Christ wants for us? All great men and women of God had to make a decision to follow Christ. Abraham was called to follow God. So, Abraham had to make a choice whether to stay in the land of his father or to follow the voice of the Lord by faith. "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went." (Hebrews 11:8 KJV). By faith, Abraham followed the voice of the Lord. We also have a choice today to follow Christ or the world. The world is full of choices, but we as Christians have one choice, which we find in Jesus Christ. Be careful with your choices today. Allow faith to make your decisions. Praise God.
