He came.
"He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own–His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him" (John 1:11 AMP). Jesus Christ came into this world and made a way for all humanity to live a life of freedom under His mercy and grace. He left His heavenly home, the splendor and the glory of His throne, to come down to the people bound up on Earth in order to see them healed and free from all captivity. However, when He came to His own, His own rejected Him. They could not believe that He was the Messiah, for they expected something other than Him. The Lord did not get discouraged. He came for one purpose only, and that was to save and bring back those in captivity. Nothing can stop the great love that the Lord Jesus has for His children, even though they despise and reject Him. There are many people today that still despise the Lord. So many people have and still are rejecting Him. They have not come to the understanding that He is the Truth and the only way to Heaven. They trust in other worldly things greater than they trust in the All Powerful God. Many people find themselves chasing after unfulfilled lusts and desires that will never come to an end. They are hungry for passions of darkness. They are chasing wicked imaginations that are never being fully satisfied. They chase after this darkness in order to satisfy their sinful nature. "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not" (Isaiah 53:3 KJV). Jesus bore our grief, and He died for our freedom. There is no greater love, but that which comes from the Lord. God bless you. Amen
