In the beginning

"IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself" (John 1:1 AMP). The Word of God has been around since the beginning of time, and it will be around forever more. It is here to guide us and lead every believer into eternal life. Without the Word of God, we are as good as dead. So, let not the Word of God depart from your heart. Meditate on the Word of God, and allow it to grow within your heart. For without the Word living inside of us, we are all but flesh, confused and bound by our sinful desires. It was the Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit, that kept Joshua and the children of Israel protected in the land of Canaan. The Lord commanded Joshua to meditate on the Word and "observe to do according to all the law. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper anywhere you go" (Josh. 1:7). The Word is Christ Jesus, our Savior, the Lamb of God. It is a relationship with the Word that keeps one safe, founded upon "the Rock", Christ Jesus. It is the Word of God that moves the church and brings growth, not only in numbers but in Spirit. This Word is active and alive. It looks deep into man's heart, analyzing every intent there is within. This very Word keeps the believer alive each and every day. It is the arsenal that God has given us, all we have to do is believe in the Word, our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen
