Like a bird

"We are like a bird escaped from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped! Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 124:7, 8 AMP). There is no one like you Oh Lord, the One who takes care of the brokenhearted and reassures them that hope is ever so near. Even when the believer becomes trapped by the things of this world, the Lord does not forget about them. He will hear our prayers. King David announced in the beginning of the Psalms, "If it had not been the Lord who was on our side". Many of us have recited this many times in our lives when we come out of the trap. The Lord is there to break the snare and give us a way of escape. He is there when the waters become overwhelming to our souls and pound on our hearts as if we were going to break. The Lord will always bring us back to the remembrance of past victories, which always brings us hope. King David understood that salvation could only be found in the Lord. He trusted in the Lord with all of His heart. When one begins to trust in our Lord God deeply, they will understand He will become their helper and nothing can come in between them. The Lord will always bring us victory, no matter how tough it may look. When victory comes, we shall give the Lord the praise He deserves. "Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth" (vs. 8). This is our faith. The Lord is our help at all times. Glory be to God. God bless you. Amen
