Found upon the Rock.

"He is like a man which built a house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock" (Luke 6:48 KJV). My heart and my prayers go out to the families in Texas, Oklahoma, and throughout all the Midwest. Men and women have lost their homes, and some have lost their families by these devastating tornadoes. It's hard to imagine the power that winds can bring and how destructive it can be. I pray for everyone who has lost a loved one or two, and I pray for those children in that school. When I heard about the school being hit and flattened by this tornado, my heart melted. I began to pray. "Lord save those children and teachers. We don't need another school torn down in our country". America has been hit hard by mass destruction, and it seems like every other month there's something devastating happening here on this side of the world, just as in all the other sides of the world. I believe the Church, The Body of Christ, the believer, is hurt and is crying out for mercy. Yet, we are not going to be moved by any winds or by any thunderstorms. For, we are found on the "Rock", Jesus Christ. I pray for those who have been hit head-on by these storms of mass destruction. I pray that their faith doesn't fail. It is during times like this when America needs to have faith. Times like this is when we need to come together, grab hands with one another, and begin to pray to the Lord. Times like this is what brings out the true American inside of us. We are not going to be defeated by anything that comes our way, but as Americans, we will shake ourselves off and pray for and help those that are hurt and the families that have lost their loved ones. We will get back up and stand once again on the Rock of Jesus Christ. Amen. God bless you all.
