Seek and save that which was lost.
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10 KJV). The name of the Denver Rescue Mission is Jesus Saves. This is where hundreds of people go in day and night, homeless, hungry, and lost. Yet, like any other safe place, right outside the doorways and windows lies the devil himself with his evil spirits tearing down those who have already lost everything they possibly owned. Drugs, alcohol, and hopelessness sits day and night across the street from a place that shelters many individuals. There are so many lost souls down there. There are so many young and old people bound by the past and broken by many hurts that have struck them in their lives. The enemy is taking them even further away from the True Light, and he is trying to keep them all in his darkness. How many other places are there across this world that are just like this one? A place where the homeless and the lost souls are beaten by the devil on a daily basis. The devil doesn't care about anyone. The devil will keep sending his demon spirits to pull down the souls even more than they already are. How many more places are like this one? Jesus does save. He has saved many hundreds, thousands, and even millions out of that miry clay, but each time there was someone praying, someone crying out, or someone doing something about it. He has saved our souls from being beat down and played with by the devil. He has saved many from death and eternal misery. He still is saving. Where are the soldiers in the army of the Lord in this last hour? Where are the laborers of the harvest? Many are dying. This is not a time to get comfortable in the house of God. He's calling us, you and I, to stand in the gap day and night for the lost sinner outside our own doors. God bless you. Amen
