Arise from the dead.

"Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:14 NKJV). It's time to arise from sleep and from being spiritually dead and to run to the Light of Christ. Times are coming, and they are here already, where our faith will be tried. Many families, businesses, and governments are going through trials, and along with these trials nations begin to shift. Countries are rising against countries, fathers against sons, mothers against daughters, brothers against brothers, and sisters against sisters. These trials are not going to go away any time soon, and in many parts of the world they will intensify. We hear of these trials upon the news and see it happening in our own backyards. It is obvious how humanity has risen against one another and has allowed wickedness to dominate countries and nations. It is time for the church to arise and begin to pray and seek God. How can a Christian brother or sister be relaxed in this great and dreadful hour, when homes are being destroyed by sin, rebellion, addiction, and lawlessness? When our schools are being run down and torn apart by immorality, ungodliness, and murder? Arise my brother and sister! Cry out, fast, and seek the face of God. It is not time to be relaxed or content with what is going on around us. Our faith is being challenged by the works of wickedness, and one can only overcome these various trials by clinging to Jesus and trusting in His finished work at the cross.
