Be dead indeed unto sin.

"Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof" (Romans 6:11, 12 KJV). We all have a choice. Are we going to let sin continually reign in our mortal bodies? When is enough? Is there not a way out of this sin nature that hinders us so many times? This sin nature, also known as the natural man, has to become dormant in one's life in order for one to live a victorious Christian life. However, it also narrows down to our faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified. What Jesus Christ did at the cross shows us and gives us the answer over the sin nature. Sin was paid for at Calvary, and the believer who has faith in Jesus Christ crucified has also been baptized into death. When they put Him in the tomb, they put our sins in the tomb as well. We have been redeemed and set free by Jesus Christ. So, reckon yourself also dead to sin and alive unto God through Christ Jesus our Lord. Don't let sin, that was defeated long ago, reign over you anymore. We need Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit to guide us, for we are all powerless to the sin nature. God bless you. Amen
