Dead in your trespasses.

"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it" (Colossians 2:13-15 NKJV). Nothing but the Cross of Christ! When I look at the Cross of Christ, I see a sacrifice that man could not ever imagine and one that man could never do. God sent His only begotten Son to this world because He saw a need. A need for help and a need to step in and save what He so dearly prized and loved, which was a world filled with lost souls going no where but into darkness. At the cross, our sins were defeated and paid for. Sin was nailed and hung to the cross because the Son of God, Jesus Christ, carried everyone's sin, lust, adultery, perversion, murder, and every deceiving lie and hung it to the cross. Darkness was defeated that very day. As it surrounded Jesus Christ it looked upon Him as if it had defeated Him, but Christ was the victor that day and was even before and has been ever since. He disarmed all principalities and powers so that we may walk freely in unity with Him into everlasting life. The Way, the Truth, and the Life has been paved by Christ crucified. God bless you. Amen
