Stand still

"And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever" (Exodus 14:13 KJV). The children of Israel looked ahead of them and saw a great body of water, and behind them they saw a cloud of dust from an enemy that was coming towards them. Satan doesn't easily give up his attempts to hold believers in bondage. He will continually try to weaken and break our faith. The children of Israel cried out in the wilderness in unbelief. Fear entangled the children of God as the army of Pharaoh marched closer. At this time, complaining becomes a common thing among the believer's heart. So many times we find ourselves speaking negatively and doubting God's great work when the enemy is breathing down our necks. Most Christians today compromise with the world and stay in slavery. They do not understand deliverance because they're looking for it in the wrong way. The children of Israel cried out to Moses saying, "Why would you bring us to die in the wilderness? Were there no graves in Egypt?" If unbelief and doubt has a hold of one's heart, then the wilderness will become their grave. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord today. The only fight we are engaged in is to fight the good fight of faith. God bless you. Amen
