Behold.
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of The Lord" (Amos 8:11 KJV). A spiritual famine is upon the land. I see people more aroused by materialistic things and greedy for the dollar bill than hungry for Christ Jesus. Spiritual idolatry is moving across our nations, and it is grabbing a hold of the young generation. It's grabbing them and leading them into selfishness, self gratification, and greed. So many people are lost in the things of this world, whether it be through material things, sexual things, or drugs. So many people are lost, and the church is sitting back in the pews pleasing themselves with a 30 minute watered-down message. Where are the men of God, the prophets , and the spirit filled believers? Our land is filled with immorality. Pornography is found in just about every store! Is there no hope? Teenagers live a life of confusion and bitter darkness. They are being tricked by the deceiver, lead astray by the devil's helpers, and bound up in darkness. Do we not see this? Where is God's remnant? Is there still a people that wait upon God? Are we thirsty? Do we hunger for God's righteousness and peace? Or are we content with the way life looks around us as we leave the church building? Spiritual famine is upon the land. God bless you. Amen
