My Salvation
"Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation" (Psalms 62:1 KJV). The Lord Jesus was faced with many trials and sufferings, and He endured them by keeping His eyes upon the Father in Heaven. He was tempted in every way man could be tempted, tried, or persecuted, but He never lost focus on the purpose of why He was here. He saw the need, the need of the children of this earth, who were living a life chained by the darkness, confused, lost, sick, weak, and tired. They were looking for peace and safety, but they knew no other way except what was shown to them by the world. We too are very powerless in helping our own needs be met. The days we live in are no different than the days before Jesus ministered on this earth. We are weak, sick, broken, and in need of Christ Jesus our Savior. The Lord shows us very clearly that if we trust and abide in Him we will make it through these trials that face us, and we will stand firm and unshakable with Him. Just as Jesus Christ carried His cross, we too must carry our cross and look up to the Father, who brings encouragement in the time of trials and temptations. God bless you. Amen
