Pulling down strong holds

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV). The battle starts from within the mind and the heart of man, and it begins with thoughts and imaginations. Most of the time we make our own battles. We are good at making things bigger than they really are, and by doing so it roars up a battle within us. There are many people out there that are fighting the spiritual battle because they allowed their imagination to flirt with certain ungodly thoughts. Now they are powerless, and they have no strength to defeat the enemy in this battle. This is very common among the believers, not only today but even during the times when the Bible was being written. Satan doesn't have to come around and throw temptations in front of us in order for us to sin. Our thoughts and imaginations can lead us away from the Lord and cause us to sin without the enemy having to tempt us. Be wise! This is the beginning of a fall. The only one who is able to pick us back up is our Lord Jesus Christ, who cares for us, loves us, and forgives us of our sins. Bring all thoughts into the obedience of Jesus Christ, and you will stay clear from the traps of the enemy. God bless you. Amen
