Troubled
"I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long" (Psalms 38:6 KJV). Sometimes we get attacked and don't understand why, or maybe we opened the door of our heart to the enemy. Just like every believer in their walk, we will be discouraged and shaken by the enemy. Sometimes it feels as if noone is around and we're all alone, empty and by ourselves. Times like this can be tough to go through. The storms never seem to stop. They only get bigger. The good thing about this is God the Father is right there in front of us waiting for us to cry out for help. He wants us to pour out our hearts into His hands and not to stop until it is all done, until every last tear has been cried out. King David knew that the Lord was close by, but with guilt upon his heart, he was as far from the Lord as we are when we all sin. "Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee" (vs.9). The Lord waits to see what we are going to do when such a battle comes against us. Are we just going to let our hearts get beat up by discouragement? Or are we running to the altar of God? He sees and hears our groanings. There's no where to hide. He gives us the Comforter for this reason. God bless you. Amen
