The Cloud of The Lord

"For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys". (Exodus 40:38 KJV). God showed His glory so many times to the children of Israel as they moved through the wilderness. His presence filled the tabernacle, as He made it very clear that He was with them. What a sight that must have been to see fire among the tabernacle at night. Our Lord made it clear to the children of Israel that He was going to lead them through the wilderness, and all they had to do was follow. He brought them out of Egypt, and He knew they could not possibly survive the wilderness alone. He did not leave them to die in a desert with thirst and hunger. He stayed with them. He provided for their every need, and made sure that they had everything they could possibly need for this journey to the promise land. He was their shield and protector against the enemy, not allowing sickness to slow down their journey. As we walk in this wilderness today, the Lord has not changed. We are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, and He will shine His glory upon those who seek Him. He guides us, teaches us, and protects us from all that surrounds us. He will always make a way for those who have faith in Him. Let the glory of God guide you today. Let Him occupy your heart. The children of Israel didn't move until the cloud moved.
