Belief of the truth

"But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" (2 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV). This is an exciting time to live for the Lord. It is so powerful to be able to see and read about prophecy unfolding in this last hour. Just look around and see the lawlessness that is rising in our countries and upon this world. The Apostle Paul prophesied that in the last days many will fall from the faith. They will abandon their true love, Christ Jesus. This is surely an exciting time to live in. It is time to let God prepare the church, His children, those who stand upon the Rock, those who rely on Him, and those who have made Him their King. It's time to allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify, cleanse, and make us holy. He has chosen all onto salvation. He has brought the truth to everyone of us, and it's up to us to guard ourselves and stand continually in that truth. Establish your heart in the good Word of Christ. Plant yourself on the foundation and principles of Christ Jesus. Paul was letting the Thessalonian Church and every believer know that the time will come when many will continue to follow the way of the wicked, bound by their own sin. This will continue to grow, and the powers of Satan will continue to deceive many. However, God gives every believer comfort. He pours out His Holy Spirit, loves on us, and gives us an everlasting hope through His grace. Give God praise today for He is worthy of all praise. God bless you. Amen
