The Lord lives.
“The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation" (II Samuel 22:47 NKJV)! The Lord is our Deliverer, our Rock, and our Fortress. He delivers those who have faith in what He did at Calvary and who give the Holy Spirit latitude to work in their lives. After many years of being chased down by Saul, his enemy, and fighting battle after battle, David sung his last song to the Lord. King David knew who took care of him and who saved him from every trial and defeat. God delivered David right out of the hands of Saul, and during that time God taught David how to stay faithful, obedient, and in the Word of the Lord. David had some tough times in his ministry before he took the throne of Israel. God had to mature and mold David into a man of God before he sat down upon the throne. God was showing David that the only way he would ever have success was to totally trust and rely on Him at all times. Walking with God takes faith, and a great amount of it. David found more faith when he was alone with the Lord. We must not let our struggles be turned into defeats, but allow them, through the Holy Spirit, to mold everyone of us into perfect children of God. David knew that the Lord was the source to his victories, even if he did fall behind every now and then. He knew the only way out of the flood of ungodly men and the enemy, was by praising God during the trial. Praise God through the hard times, then in the hard times it will be easier to praise the Lord. Christ will get you through. He always makes a way. God bless. Amen
