Good report

"For by [faith–trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report" (Hebrews 11:2 AMP). When one serves the Lord, faith is not an option but a must. We have to have faith. The Scriptures say, "Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God". We need to hear the Word of God and seek it in order to build up our faith in the Lord. Sufferings, temptations, and trials will come into our lives, but they are there to build our faith. When the trials and temptations come, we must learn how to trust and rely on Christ Jesus. Faith is how the church of old stood during persecution and suffering. They continued to lift their hands and give praises to God above. When they stood up in faith, there was nothing that got in their way. No suffering, no amount of torture, nor opposition was able to break them from their faith because faith became their life and nothing else, which comes from being constantly in the Word, our Lord Jesus Christ. The church of Christ will only grow upon faith. Faith is what opens man's heart to the truth and the mysteries that God so wants to show the faithful. "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 1:6, 7 KJV). Hold on to your faith. It brings a good report to man. God bless you. Amen
